Love these in winter with shorter skirts.

These socks are semi-opaque in thickness, and have a nice amount of stretch & resilience, so they hold their shape, but are still comfortable to wear. If your legs are on the thicker side, particularly above the knee, you may be getting a “muffin top,” but if you fold them down to wear as knee-highs, then you might be ok.I prefer not to wear pants, if possible, since tennis skirts (minis) are so much more comfy. These socks make it possible for me to wear my minis year-round, and keep me warm when I ride my bike, to around the upper-50s, even with the windchill factor, as long as it’s not crispy cold. Thanks to thigh-high socks, I didn’t wear pants even ONCE during this past SoCal winter.Hues are beautifully-vibrant, and accurate to their depiction on the product page. Lightweight, soft and very comfortable. Like them so much I just ordered a second set.

They seem nicely made (haven't laundered them yet, not sure whether to put them in dryer or not), they stay up even though the top binding isn't tight. (I'm 5'2", 110-112 lbs). My legs are average, not skinny. They stay because the whole length gently hugs my legs. I have neuropathies in my legs. They can't stand anything too tight, and also the air brushing by my bare knees and lower legs is irritating--which is why I'm glad I found these. Leggings are fine but I don't want to wear something all the way up to waist just to work at home and in my studio. I'm happy with these. I like the different colors.The only complaint is that the socks are inconsistent. The white, light gray, black combo was lighter in weight, which it turns out, I don't like, and they are shorter, I end up using them as knee socks. The burgundy was thinner and shorter too. The rest of the colors are thicker and longer, even after numerous washings.

I love these socks! They are so comfortable and warm. The best part is that they look like tights or leggings on but without the hassle of putting on and pulling up tights. As for older ladies, it often becomes more of a hassle to put on tights - but I love the look with dresses. They stay up the entire day. I ordered another set in different colors.

These are really pretty nice over the knee socks. They're a mid-weight with nice stretch which is still supportive and a wide elastic band at the top to keep them secure - no wrinkles. The toe seam is minimal so shoes are comfortable as well. What a fun way to add some color to any outfit.
