Verey, very tasty. Much better.
The product was a little dryer than others I bought from Spanish groceries, but still, the Palacios flavor and quality came through. Much superior to the usual grocery story brands of chorizo. Dryer, much more flavorful. I prefer the "hot", although there is no hot pepper spice. It is more spiced than the other Palacios variety, but not in the sense of heat. I was happy to get this, as it's not available locally.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!
Living in Afghanistan and the threat of MREs looming, I'm trying to discover foods with long shelf life stability that I can prepare an easy, tasty dish using a microwave, crockpot or rice cooker or other quick means. This was a good buy. Personally I love chorizo, both the Spanish and Mexican kinds. Of course its not good to have the Mexican kind as it it more fresh. I'm dependent on the US Mail to send me my packages, so perishables are not a good investment unless its during winter. Never the less, this was a tasty sausage that I will be sure to buy more of for stock.

Yummy GENUINE Spanish Bean Soup
Genuine Spanish chorizo is something that is difficult to find in the stores. There is plenty of Mexican Chorizo, but as anybody who has tasted it, not the same thing. Not close, really. This IS the real thing. Take a nice portion of the chorizo, sliced and chopped, add garlic, carrots, celery, potato, and some spices of your choice, sauté in a pan, add some white beans, and cook. OMG, what a delicious soup you can end up with. As close as I've found that I enjoyed at that restaurant in Zaragoza. Slice up some baguette bread to go with it and, HEAVEN! And, the chorizo came very quickly.

Way better than anything else around here
Being from Spain, of course, you can find way better chorizos in Spain but being an expat here in Texas where there is only mexican "chorizo" this is like pure gold. I use it form "bocadillos" or for cooking (for example with lentils).

Disappointed: arrived super hard/not fresh
Came in a regular plastic package...no vacuum pack or anything. Sausage is super hard that it’s hard to cut. Threw it out as it clearly wasn’t fresh out the box. Disappointed

Spicy and full flavored!
The sausage has much better flavor than other Chorizo offerings on Amazon. It has a spicy kick as it should. It is, however, a very hard sausage. Sliced or cubed and put in a soup though, it's a perfect addition. Sliced and just eaten as slices is very nice as well, but I like what it adds to a soup or hot dish better.
