Such a cool experience for my kids for homeschooling and everyone loved eating what we grew! Price is cheap but we got four huge fruiting clusters out of this one block and they taste amazing and grow so super fast easy to take care of fun for the kids

This is such a fun mushroom grow project! We bought this with medium expectations for it but the kit went above and beyond. We were able to get one really fantastic harvest and another smaller one when used on the other side so you really get at least one and a half harvest from this box. The educational things inside were fun for my son. We have already bought this for my in-laws and my partner sister and her family because it is such a wonderful project but also the mushrooms are delicious! We also really love the mission of them giving back to educators as both of my in-laws are ex-teachers.

Bummed that nothing grew… we followed the instructions… after almost two weeks a small cluster of shrooms started to sprout and then they all shriveled up and died. Bummer. I purchased the kit on 2-8 and set it up on 2-9. Everything looked great until 2-19 (10 days) when it looked like the grow just stopped. So I emailed the company 2-21 as suggested in the instructions. They didn't respond until 2-23 and at this point the mushrooms had gone rancid and stunk up my whole house and I had to throw the grow away. In hindsight I should not have purchased the the mini Pink Oyster Mushroom kit as I had expected them to be much larger. I may buy another kit. But I am very frustrated with the product at this time. They did finally respond today and told me the mushrooms looked to have reached maturity. Wish I had known a day earlier. It was my first try, I hope it works better the next time.Update to my Original review. Back to the Roots has offered to send me a replacement for my kit. I will increase my rating for good customer support.

It worked great! The mycelium produced pips and mushrooms fast. It was a good value.

These guys came on time and were well shipped. Instructions were very clear. There is minimal preparation to get these growing. We followed the instructions and by day 3 were astonished to have a ton of little mushrooms. At day 5 they are busting out of the box. Very fun project to do with kids. High quality kit, they are guaranteed to grow, and they definitely deliver! Will buy again from Back to the Roots for sure!

I bought theses and yes they did grow but only once. I thought they supposed to grow more mushrooms then a small handful! I won't buy it again.

They grew in the expected timeframe and they tasted absolutely amazing. Will keep on buying these for sure!
