I got this for my labradoodle who needed a treatment near her back end. The vet had put a cone of shame on my pooch but it turned out, she could still reach to lick! I quickly ordered this for next day delivery and it's been working so well in preventing licking - she just can't reach. Also, Bella seems much happier in this instead of the cone. She's snoozing in it now as I write this review👍

A highly effective and brilliantly comfortable and secure collar (size large) for our 9 year old border collie x Welsh sheepdog who suddenly developed a skin condition which led to him nibbling his tail down to the bone. We tried an inflatable collar without the shield, but he could still reach his tail and he burst the inner tube after a few days! So we resorted to the vet supplied hard plastic "cone of shame" which almost stopped him licking his tail, but was so uncomfortable. The shield on top of the inflatable collar is at right angles to the collar and is narrower at the top than the plastic cone, so it's also easier for our dog to manoeuvre his way around the house and he's able to eat, drink, and play without removing the shield. I chose this collar rather than some of the other inflatable collar with a clear plastic shield as the width of the inflatable cone is 12cm which seemed to be larger than others and it had loops to thread his collar through to secure the inflatable cone. An unexpected bonus was that it was delivered with a small pump to inflate the collar. Highly recommended...thank you!

My dog was comfortable, didn't shut down like she did when wearing the traditional cone of shame, and it worked. However, if you have 2 dogs, beware of the partners-in-crime problem! My second dog ended up taking offense to the collar her sister was wearing, and chewing through the clasp which held it (naughty AND clever!) to bust her out! Fortunately, her healing was mostly complete and we were able to manage without it, but ideally it could do with not relying on a plastic clasp, and instead having a more shoelace-like tie arrangement. Other than that, it definitely helped, and I even bought another to keep in reserve. My only other request to the developers is to provide a longer-length see-through collar to thwart long-legged and flexible doggies working out that they can get to their feet and chew them if they can just bend themselves far enough!

This has been a Godsend for my miniature dachshund following an operation on his front leg. The buster cone supplied by the vet stopped him from eating & drinking & kept getting caught on the ground where his legs are so short. Effectively prevented him getting to his wound without the clear plastic add-on. Used the buster cone at night though as this one keeps his neck at a funny angle when he lies down.

Second cone I’d purchased and sadly still didn’t stop my dog from licking the wound on her rump. Had such high hopes but the poppers on the clear screen are easy for the dog to open as the screen is so flexible and not sturdy at all. In theory it should be a good idea with the comfortable inflatable hoop which easily attaches to the collar so it can’t come off over their head and the screen attaches easily via zip but if the wound is on the lower half of the body the addition of the screen is not fit for purpose. Sadly wasted my money.

Works well for my chow chow. Stops him licking paws and belly when they have been sprayed. Unlike cones,he can still drink water and eat food with the dog collar on

Really comfy inflatable fog collar. I got this for my Bichon and he was happy to wear it.

Sehr gutes Teil für tagsüber... schlafen damit war für meine Hündin schwierig. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich individuell. Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung.

Aufgrund unseres Katers der eine ausgeprägte Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeit aufweist,waren wir immer auf der Suche nach dem passenden Kratzschutz wenn er wieder einen starken Schub hatte,indem auch meist seine Hinterpfote betroffen war. Da Katzen ja immer sehr schlau sind und sämtliche Wege finden an allen Stellen zu kommen,hatte es mit anderen Kragen nie lange gedauert, bis er es geschafft hat die Pfote zu lecken. Mit diesem Kragen hier,ist es jedoch unmöglich und echt zu empfehlen! Einziger Sternabzug ist wenn er damit auf die Toilette geht,trägt er viel Streu im Kragen mit raud und verteilt es in der ganzen Wohnung. Sonst aber top!

Ich durfte diese aufblasbare Halskrause im Rahmen von Vine testen und bin – wie immer – dabei völlig neutral. Die Idee, eine weiche Alternative zum klassischen Plastiktrichter zu bieten, ist hier wirklich gut umgesetzt. Der aufblasbare Ring ist angenehm gepolstert und liegt gleichmäßig am Hals an, ohne zu scheuern. Unser kleiner Mischlingsrüde konnte damit problemlos liegen und sogar schlafen – was mit einer herkömmlichen Trichterlösung deutlich schwieriger ist. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide, der Reißverschluss für das Sichtfenster ist leichtgängig, und die Druckknöpfe halten das Fenster zuverlässig an Ort und Stelle. Das Sichtfenster selbst ist eine clevere Ergänzung – man kann das Tier beobachten, ohne den Kragen jedes Mal abzunehmen. Der Kragen lässt sich individuell anpassen und sitzt stabil, sofern man ihn richtig aufpumpt und positioniert. Wichtig zu wissen: Der Kragen kommt unaufgepumpt an, lässt sich aber in wenigen Sekunden mit dem Mund aufblasen. Auch die Reinigung ist unkompliziert – das Material lässt sich feucht abwischen, bei Bedarf kann der Bezug abgenommen werden. Bei sehr aktiven oder kaufreudigen Hunden sollte man jedoch aufpassen: Die weiche Konstruktion kann beschädigt werden, wenn zu sehr daran gezerrt oder genagt wird. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Lösung für die Erholungszeit nach kleineren Eingriffen oder Verletzungen – deutlich komfortabler als starre Plastiktrichter und für viele Hunde (und ihre Halter) eine stressärmere Option. Ich durfte ihn im Rahmen von Vine testen und bin – wie immer – dabei völlig neutral. Von hier aus 5 von 5 Sternen.

Leider sind die Reisverschlüsse nicht sehr hochqualitativ. Sie gehen nicht richtig auf und zu respektiv gehen immer mitten drin wieder auf. Der durchsichtige Kragen lässt sich dadurch nicht anbringen. Aber nur mit dem aufblasbaren Ring ist mein Hund zufrieden und stört sich überhaupt nicht dran, in an zu haben.
