Sougayilang Fishing Rod Reel Combo with Telescopic Fishing Pole Spinning Reel Carrier Bag for Travel Saltwater Freshwater Fishing

I purchased their 12ft pole (no longer available) for surf fishing and it served me very well, You guys should really bring it back! Also purchased their 5'9" pole for lake fishing which was also a solid rod... so i decided to go for their newer version of the same pole, when i recieved it the eyelets of the pole were falling apart and they werent welded very well, the collar that holds the shims where the pole extends was slanted and wasnt seated properly, very bad QC on their part, i shouldve taken photos but i didnt, i just sent it back to AMAZON and got 2 more of the older versions in 7ft, which upon arrival i inspected them thoroughly and were as solid as the ones i got 4 years prior, IMHO stick with the older ones until their New ones can pass QC.

Great rod just don't sling it out to hard or the tip will get stuck

Was looking for a heavier travel rod to pair with my Eagle Claw pack-it. This has done a great job as a slightly larger and heavier action setup and has become part of my car fishing kit. My one complaint is that the guides which hold the reel on can sometimes twist if you're pulling at weird angles and need to be tightened down. Otherwise this is a great travel rod I would reccomend to anyone looking for something strong, small and cheap.

They claim that "the rod is highly durable and stronger than other rods in a similar price range", which is not true; it broke on the third cast when going through the weeds with a frog lure. Too bad I did not try it earlier! Do not make my mistake, do not buy it. You can see from the photos how flimsy the construction is, just one layer of what they call "graphite".

Well built for the price. Stiff for launching heavy baits into the ocean.

It is what it is. I was expecting it to be alittle easier to collapse but I just keep it fully extended now. It’s not terrible for the price, I mean it’s cheap. But it works and works fine in a pinch or as a dummy rod. If it were easier to collapse I’d give it another star but when it is collapsed it is compact and is easy to keep. And would be good for single uses as long as you collapse it and clean it after using.

Has a very nice lightweight rod. And I’m sure it will work in medium conditions as well.
