I have bought these fitville walking trainers before. Great appearance,soft , so comfortable for walking as they are light and durable. Very good value for money.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Always by Fitville as they are a great shoe usually, but these were huge. Seemed to be sized wrong as very long & wide. Easily exchanged as they are a good company to deal with.

Safe to say, taking a punt on these “Chinese” boots paid off working at a festival with a mix of terrain from muddy fields to slippery metal walkways and tarmac! 7 days of trapsing across all terrains and especially through heavy mud and I didn’t once feel uncomfortable or unsteady underfoot, I didn’t even feel that they would come off in the sticky mud, being slip-ons. I have Plantir Fasciitis in one foot and these were extremely comfortable throughout with zero pinch points or blisters. In terms of fit. Even with thick socks, go for your actual size (I initially bought a size 9, but immediately swapped for the 8.5 even with thick hiking socks). The grips were impressive in all conditions and on all surfaces (transitioning from a couple of inches of mud to slippery metal walkways for example), but more importantly the cushioning on the insole is very well done (soft but not bouncy and mould to support the shape of your foot really well). Wore them pretty much 18 hours a day for 7 days and my feet never once felt uncomfortable (other than fatigue) or unsupported, and the extra wide fit (they do regular, wide and extra wide versions) gave me no issues at all with my dodgy foot spreading out but also didn’t feel cavernous inside. Not 100% waterproof but the high rubber side protection and the thicker undersides really held up well to all the mud and water. FitVille definitely go on my list to check out for future footwear buys and could be a brand to watch in the outdoor adventuring world. The range of sizes (including x.5 options and three foot widths is impressive). And at ~£50 a pair they really don’t break the bank. A quick wipe down and they still look pretty much as new.

The back collapsed on one shoe after a month. Still my favourite shoes though - just need a shoe horn to get them on. Very comfortable and hard wearing.

This ones i bought was first buy from, needed new footwear for my own conditions of swollen feet/water, as i wear medical socks to help with water retention, they socks tight as is, so difficult to gauge, if its sock or shoe... 1st thought was tight to put feet into, once in, felt little tight, but it new and needs little bedding in, but had them on all day, without problems, somehow got comfy as day went on, have not walked miles in them, but feet certainly haven't suffered as new often does. Fit good, size good, comfort good, downside if feet swollen bad - this ones in this slip on style i might struggle to get them on, upside i buy a different shoe style from FitVille for when that happens... I already put word out, because yip, they still need worn in, and yes its looking like, i need throw more shoes out and replace with more FitVille, looking like i found myself a new company to buy from... Highly recommend you at least buy one pair suitable for your own conditions. I now need buy something with bigger opening for when feet are swollen, this ones certainly feel comfortable and of sturdy quality. I hope they do last while if do last, then as above worth trying and so far, feel good value for£

The shoes were great for my husband. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size at £40 only to order the smaller size the day after at £60 same shoe , less plastic £20 dearer. Back to the shoes, they look good and are comfortable.

Liked the idea of wide fit and slip on. Advertised as a comfortable walking/hiking shoe. Sounded too good to be true. And it was. Purchased a size 7. The left shoe felt tight and the right loose. A definite discrepancy in sizing. Or I’ve got odd feet. They were bulky and unpleasant to wear. Look more and felt like industrial work shoes.

Perfect fit. True to size. I have flat feet so they fit me perfectly. Not as wide as I expected. But, I just got 9 wide not extra wide. Good arch support too. My foot slips in perfectly. A little snug pulling them out. But, I’m sure they will remove easier once I break them in. I got the brown pair or khaki color. They look just like the picture. Also I found them a little heavier than I expected. But, I like that because I know they’re made to last. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I was scared there were going to big and to wide. Instead it was a perfect fit. Good cushioning too. I don’t usually right reviews. But, I was very impressed with these. I hope this helps someone else who likes to read the reviews before purchasing. I give them 👍👍

Slipped these on as soon as they arrived due to a foot bunion problem. They immediately left clearance between the sore part of my foot in the wider toe. They also have arch support and are very easy to slide on and off. I am wearing them constantly in all weather.

Good investment. Great price. Very comfortable. They look decent. Hard to go wrong. As previous reviews state, they fit big, maybe half a size or so. I wear a 14 usually and I could likely get by with a 13.5. But the extra room isn't a bad idea either for the comfort. Even with the extra space, my feet are in there good. Just extra wiggle room. The heal has an extra cushion to prevent that slip-out concern.
