Falcon Bay Pants

I really like these Falcon Bay full elastic waist pants. It's very difficult for me to find full elastic waist pants on the market that fit me comfortably at the waist and inseam and are also good quality, and I am very pleased with these (best I've found in a long time!). I'm paralyzed from a spinal cord injury with no use my legs and use a power wheelchair for mobility. So, I'm sitting in the wheelchair all day. For me, the sitting position necessitates full elastic waistband pants with plenty of length and waist room. I'm 6'1" and about 187 lbs. with a little bit of a tummy. I have long legs, but the 32 inseam is plenty long for my size (normally I have needed about a 35 inch inseam). These pants have a lowrise in the crotch area, so are not bunching up tight when I'm sitting. In other words, they are generous in the crotch (spacious), as well as my entire hip and buttocks area. The cotton/poly blend is a nice material. They are very comfortable. They are casual but yet have a dressy look. I've bought multiple pair in all three colors (black, navy blue, and khaki). I plan to buy more so if they're ever discontinued I'll have plenty on hand. The Navy blue are a deeper/darker Navy blue that I really like. The black look very dressy. The khaki is not the khaki color I expected but I like this color as well. The zipper is durable. The belt loops add to the dressy look. The button closure is fine, but I would like to see a bit larger of a button sewn on even more securely than it is. I had to do a few returns when I first ordered before I figured out which size was best for me. The seller processed my returns quickly and credited me quickly, so I'm very happy with the service I received. I highly recommend these pants and will definitely purchase more of them!

The pants arrived and I was very pleased with the quality. Fabric and construction was very nice, good elastic, excited about the pants having belt loops instead of a drawstring, the only thing that was maybe a bit flimsy was the zipper. Since the pants didn't fit my husband, we didn't get to see how well everything held up. The primary and only reason for the return was because my husband wears his pants below his gut. Of course, that means everything else gets thrown off as well, becoming too big and too long. The waist sizing would've been spot on IF he wore his pants normally at his natural waist (the belly button). I think this is a pretty common scenario for "big" guys, so it might behoove the seller to post the crotch length measurements for the sizes.

I love these jeans so much I have bought 8 or 9 pair of them over the years. The waist band is very roomy as these are loose fit jeans. The thighs are baggy, which I do not mind at all. If you do not like baggy thighs, do not buy these jeans! The only problem I have with them is that they rip in the crotch easily. Be careful if you spread your knees and bend over to pick something up.

These are much lighter weight fabric then I remember and the front pockets are so small and the pocket fabric is thin. Pockets are almost too small to hold my cell phone. But worst of all after a few times through the wash a few of the teeth in the zipper fell out I found them in the wash and didn't know where those pieces of metal came from until I put the paints on. I have never had a zipper fall apart like that and I have worn a lot of pants in 60+ years. So they can no longer be worn at all since I can't zip them up. They were long but expected that from other reviewers and was willing to live with that but the zipper failure makes this pair worthless. I have two others that I just bought if they hold up I will update my review. I wish the zipper had failed before I had ordered two more pair because I would have looked for a better quality product.

Good quality except the measurements. The pants legs were long from the promised measure, and very loose at the waist. I wanted pants that I would NOT need to use a belt with, but I need suspenders with these!

The pants are nice, appear to made with quality, and look and fit as expected. The zipper was off-line, but I was able to fix it. However, the quality of the zipper is not the best. Time will tell if it holds up after washing/cleaning. For now I give the pants 5 stars.
