I started using Xylitol rinse during pandemic (I actually missed a cleaning while isolating). The evidence on xylitol would suggest that more research is necessary; however, in my own experience (population sample of 1), it's a winner. The research suggests that xylitol works by breaking down biofilm. All I know is that my dental checkups (which were already good) have improved since I added this. There's less buildup when I go for cleanings. I also floss DAILY, so, if you don't do that, then this might not add much for you. Flossing is the low hanging fruit IMHO. I did overhear my dentists say to the hygienist (dictating for her to make notes in my chart), "she rinses with the good stuff."

This product is light and the Peppermint is not over powering. Its a hint of the taste, and I very much dislike any mint flavoring of any kind and found this product very tolerable! I can actually use a mouth wash for the 30 seconds without bad taste or burning! For years I have been picky of my tooth pastes and mouth wash at home and at the dentists due to over powering flavoring/scents. I also like that the liquid is a liquid and not thick like coconut oils that are used for oil pulling. Granted oil pulling has been used to help with cavities/reduce cavities but I cannot tolerate the thickness of it and do for 20 minutes!? The Aloe vera is very soothing to the gums to me as well. I haven't used the product for very long, but found it necessary to write a review right away due to how impressed I am. This product cannot be found at any Walmart or Target. My journey to a healthier oral regimen is still in the works, but what I do know is that Xylitol works!! I also use a Xylitol toothpaste, and I love it!! Again, coconut oil is not my cup of tea, I just wanted to share my experience with others who have texture sensitiveities like I do when it comes to oral care.

Very mild taste. Cap came broken but it was still safety sealed but now can't shake it up without it spilling. Apart from that I like it though and will buy again

I originally bought this mouthwash because I had some issues with bone loss under my gum lines and my dentist wanted me to brush and gargle with strong fluoride products. I'm not a fan of fluoride so I thought I'd try a Xylitol toothpaste and this Buried Treasure Xyliswish Mouth Rinse. I used this mouth rinse twice a day as recommended on the bottle. Good news! I just got back from the dentist today and I'm pleased to say this routine has worked for me. All of my numbers have improved so I will be definitely keep using this excellent quality product.One of the nicest bonus qualities about Xyliswish Mouth Rinse is it's clean mild taste. It doesn't feel like it's burning like so many other Mouth rinses do. I like the quality ingredients used, silver and Xylitol which are antibacterial.
