Tasty in the right application
This is a review of “Syruvia Sugar-Free Coconut Coffee Syrup – 25.4 fl oz - Syrup for Coffee, Latte, Shakes, Smoothies, Desserts – 100% Vegan, Gluten Free, Kosher – No-Calorie Coffee Syrup, (Pack of 2)”. I’m mentioning the item name to make review hijacking more obvious if it occurs later. As it says on the label, this is water thickened with cellulose gum (carboxymethyl cellulose) mixed with artificial sweeteners (acesulfame potassium and sucralose) and coconut flavor. It isn’t as thick or as sweet as a regular syrup, and will therefore not be suitable in all situations where a regular syrup might be used. It works well for coffee and other drinks, though, and I’m sure it can also substitute for regular syrup in baked goods and the like if you’re willing to do some experimentation to find ways to compensate for the differences. The coconut flavor I received does taste artificial (which it is, of course) but it’s inoffensive and executed well enough that I can’t find a more specific fault with it. If you consider yourself more of a gourmet or have a problem with artificial sweeteners or artificial coconut flavorings, look elsewhere. But overall, it’s about what I expected from a sugar-free syrup, and I’m pretty satisfied with it. The only thing to watch out for is that the pump leaks if you squeeze the plastic bottle during handling, which wouldn’t happen with a glass bottle. Luckily, cleanup is much easier than for a regular syrup since there’s no sugar or food coloring involved, and it’s not a problem once you’re aware of the possibility.

excellent for Pina coladas
This is a great set, with two 25.4 fl oz bottles, and a pump. These bottles are full, to the top! I added two capfuls to my coffee then tried to add the pump and spilled syrup out onto my table. So be careful to remove some first, so you don't waste any! This is not syrupy thick, it's on the thinner side. It has a light coconut scent but the flavor is definitely there. This would be great in Pina coladas. There is a bit of a bitter aftertaste, from sucralose. I got these because several people in my life are diabetic and I am always seeking sugar free options for entertaining. These fit this bill. Very pleased.

Sugar-free, zero calories, great taste, dissolves quickly, made in USA
I love this coconut syrup; both the taste and aroma are very coconut-y. It also tastes very sweet but is sugar-free, carb-free, and calorie-free. It is sweetened with stevia but I hardly notice it at all and it doesn’t leave that odd aftertaste stevia sometimes does. It has a low viscosity, pouring and pumping easily and allowing it to dissolve quickly in coffee and other drinks. I like it in plain water, green tea, and on ice cream with some fruit. I also used it in thumbprint cookie dough yesterday and it added such a nice flavor to the tartness of the apricot jam on the cookies. I love how versatile this is and can think of many more uses for it. It’s a good thing there are 2 bottles of it! It comes with one pump - you will need to pour out a little before inserting the pump or it flows over because the bottles are so full. There are both natural and artificial flavors used in this syrup, along with stevia for sweetness. This is a great syrup to have, whether you use it for coffee drinks, in smoothies, in baking and cooking, etc.

Sugar free sweetening may not taste well in coffee
I got this "Syruvia Sugar-Free Coconut Coffee Syrup – 25.4 fl oz - Syrup for Coffee" to try. I was quite interested in trying the syrup to see if it adds some interesting flavor. I have to admit I dislike my coffee after adding this syrup. It does add some flavor but it is more of a weird flavor in my opinion. It would be nice if the syrup contained no sweetener at all, which I may enjoy better with my coffee. This is likely due to personal preference since I normally drink coffee without sugar or sweeteners. On the other hand, adding this to smoothies or shakes doesn't seem a bad idea, since smoothies and shakes were sweet before the syrup. The price is another thing to complain about, which I think could be lowered. As a result, I'm giving this a 3-star rating. Thanks for reading this review and I hope you find it helpful.

Very sweet and strong coconut scent.
I requested this syrup for my smoothies because I don't like coconut milk or coconut water so I usually don’t have them in stock. I thought this would be a great way to substitute those in smoothie recipes. So, I used one pump of this syrup and unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut milk, or this syrup and water instead of coconut water in recipes. By the way, this syrup is quite strong and sweet, so just use half a pump if it's your first time trying it out. In the end, it worked, and I like that it doesn't contain sugar. I don't like putting anything in my coffee, so I cannot comment on that aspect though. Also, it's quite large, so it could be a great size to place in the office break room For the amount I get, I think it’s quite a decent deal. And if you like a sweet coconut taste, you will definitely like it

Wonderful sugar-free syrup!
I absolutely love coconut and I was so happy to see this sugar-free alternative for coffee syrup. I use it in all of my coffees and desserts! A little goes a long way, so use it sparingly unless you don't mind an intense coconut flavor. You really can't tell that it's sugar free; the taste is delightful! This pack of 2 is affordable, and I love that the bottles come with caps and allows the ability to use the pumps separately. The pumps worked very well and I had no issues with them whatsoever. I would absolutely buy this 2 pack again, but in a different flavor this time!

Good sweet coconut taste
If you like coconut -- sweet coconut -- you will probably like this. It smells really nice like that coconut suntan lotion. I put two pumps into my coffee and it definitely gives that coconut taste. It will last a long time -- each bottle is 25oz. I suspect it would also taste good in smoothies or tropical drinks where you want the coconut taste but don't want the saturated fat of actual coconut. This product has 0's for everything on the nutrition label, including calories. The only thing I don't like is it has that slight aftertaste of the artificial sweetener. I don't particularly care for that taste, but if you don't mind it, then I'd recommend this.

Lovely Coconut Flavor
I've been trying to cut sugar out of my diet and add probiotic foods. I LOVE the flavor of coconuts. so I thought I'd try this because of the quantity and price. I can add this to my coffee, I've actually been using it to flavor organic plain Greek yogurt with organic coconut flakes and organic blueberries. It's fabulous. It is a little thin so it makes the yogurt soupy if I add too much, but the flavor mixes well throughout and makes the yogurt, which I am not crazy about, palatable. I might not be doing health food "exactly right" but it's a move in the right direction and it's better than giving up. This syrup is as good as some brand names I've bought in the store and I'm very happy with it.
