I did a large load that had odors and it came out fresh, clean and wonderful smelling! Like Other reviewers, I suggest 3 pods for a normal load and 4-5 for large or super soiled loads. They are small pods, but powerful. I wanted to be sure the company didn’t use plastic in their “casing” surrounding each pod, so I emailed them. They got back to me right away with this: “ The casing (film) on Dropps laundry and dishwasher capsules is made from PVOH (Polyvinyl Alcohol). This isn’t traditional plastic—it’s a water-soluble polymer that dissolves completely during use, so the active ingredients stay off your skin and there’s no mess. Dropps has thoroughly tested this material for biodegradability and environmental safety, and there’s no microplastic formation as defined by California state standards. PVOH is also listed in the EPA’s CleanGredients database and meets Safer Choice standards, highlighting its environmental credentials. In addition, all packaging is recyclable paperboard, not plastic, aligning with a commitment to reducing single-use plastics.” Great company…great product….great for animals, your family and the earth.

We’ve been using this for over a year now and I love that it doesn’t have a strong smell and is gentle on the skin. A great alternative!

These pods smell nice and work beautifully. Have used several boxes and am pleased with the results.

I am trying to be more environmentally conscious of the laundry products I use. I really appreciate their packaging is biodegradable and that the pods are concentrated without any filler/water. I have the citrus/pine scent and I love them and feel like they really do clean my clothes well. However, I JUST noticed the other day there was a clear gooey clump in the washing machines rubber rim, and it appears to be the clear outer part of the pod. I ONLY use a little washing soda, vinegar and the pod in the machine but have still noticed random ‘oil’ spots. So now I’m wondering if the gooey clear clump is causing that. I really do love them otherwise and I purchased them because of their hilarious advertisements. I will continue to purchase these and see if I can do something to get the clumps to fully dissolve.

This was my first time trying this laundry detergent. The scent was nice and not overpowering at all. My clothes look clean but I have not tried this detergent on any clothes with stains. I am giving 4 stars since i have to use 3 pods for extra large laundry loads and that becomes expensive.
