I’ve used my set once and have not had any issues. No splintering and the wood is very smooth. The one thing I did notice is that even after washing with soap, the smell of my soup has not left. But it seems to be fading.

The knife cuts well, and nice that it had all the utensils including chopsticks, cleaning brush and bamboo straw. It would be better if the fork and spoon were coated with a lacquer glaze, as it feels a bit rough when you're eating and would make it easier to clean if it were smooth. The knife and chopsticks have a coating. Overall light to carry and good pricing.

my fork came broken. And my chopsticks weren’t in the best condition. The bamboo looked old i felt after some washes I could get a splinter while using them.So I ended up returning them.

Get these. Use these. Disposable cutlery is for doorknobs. Keep one in your car and one in your backpack. Be less of a wasteful person.

I loved the bamboo set as it doesn’t transfer heat like silver so my kids don’t get burned by it when eating hot foods. It is nice it includes one of each utensil including the straw and straw cleaner. One came broken but was replaced immediately the next day. Awesome service!

I was using plastic utensils every day for breakfast and lunch at work, and I really wanted something that was sturdy and environmentally friendly that could replace the plastic utensils. This bamboo cutlery set is amazing! It was somewhat difficult to get used to at first as they are thicker than your average metal/silver/plastic cutlery. I literally have to open my mouth a little wider to fit the food and cutlery into my mouth when eating, but once you adjust it's really not a problem. I received so many compliments on these and everyone wanted a set of their own! It's such a simple way to reduce your plastic waste and make a small impact on the environment. These would be a great gift too if you want to encourage others to be more environmentally conscious.

I was so excited to receive these! But these utensils are so awkwardly shaped and big. It also can be a bit difficult to clean in between the prongs of the the fork since they’re a bit thick but the spaces between are pretty narrow. I’ve found using the straw cleaner in between is a decent solution. Also about the fork, the prongs are a bit dull and blunt so not the best for eating salads with softer leafy greens like arugula or spinach but works for thinks that are more crisp like romaine lettuce. The spoon is so wide and shallow it’s like eating with a ladle. I would say that the knife is the least frustrating utensil in the set. I really like how everything is wrapped nicely in the canvas case since I use these at work and keep the other set in my car but I’ve found these utensils to be largely ineffective.

I was hoping that these would be a great travel set to bring to work, but was really disappointed by the quality! I washed the utensils before using them, but there was a weird taste that made me feel a little sick. Bits of wood were in my food when I was using the fork, and using the spoon is awful because you can feel how rough the wood is. Beware of splinters!

The set is nice looking and comes neatly wrapped and secured in its pouch. The chopsticks and straw are fine, but the fork is awful. I haven't really used the knife (seems ok), and haven't used the spoon at all. The fork is so thick that the tines just aren't remotely sharp enough to prod and pick anything up. The thickness of the fork leaves a weird feeling in your mouth if it touches your tongue or lips; I would imagine the same from the spoon. Also, my fork has started to splinter after only 5 uses. This isn't good if you get a bamboo splinter in your mouth as your body cannot reject bamboo in the same way it would other woods.

I travel a lot for work & I was getting really concerned about the amount of single use plastic I was getting through but since having this in my handbag, I've not used any :) Really small & compact for the handbag, easy to clean & usable cutlery. Highly recommend, in fact my family will be getting these for Christmas this year!

Really dissappointed in this item. If I had realised how much plastic it was going to be covered in, I would never had bought this product. This is just senseless use of plastic, no consideration for the environment. Some of the utensils also seem varnished, some smooth, some rough.

Love this bamboo cutlery and acroutrement set,complete with straw cleaner.Will use oil to care for set after cleaning with soapy water.
