★★★★★ I bought the Barnetts Sweets Mega Sour Candy Bubblegum 500g expecting “a little tangy.” What I received was a medically significant event. These are not sweets. These are tactical weapons disguised as candy. The first piece hit my tongue and I briefly saw my ancestors. By the second piece, my internal organs filed a formal complaint and my stomach started speaking Latin. I’m fairly certain one of my kidneys packed a suitcase and left. The sour coating is so aggressive it could remove rust from a 1997 pickup truck. I gave one to my friend and he blinked so hard his Fitbit counted it as cardio. If you want something sour, this is it. 10/10. Perfect if you enjoy flavor, pain, and testing the structural integrity of your mouth lining.

The item I received was hard as a rock. It can’t be chewed like bubblegum. It is a piece of sour hard candy. I love the sour but I was expecting a sour bubblegum like the package and the seller stated.

Honestly it seems the only bad reviews are people who didn't read and thought these had bubblegum inside... They're a great flavor, nice and sour but actually have taste during it. And the fun fizzy inside. A little expensive but worth it as a once off treat.

Ok I figured out what the issue is with these reviews bring either 5 stars or 1 star. People bought the bubble-gum flavor expecting it to actually be bubble gum, but it's not, it's a hard candy. Confusing, I agree. But check out the other flavors and you'll see it is indeed a hard candy, and it's incredibly sour. Five stars minus one for the confusing naming.

Sour as hell!! I was expecting bubble gum and not bubble gum flavored candy. I can only blame myself for not reading the package correctly. Still happy with it though.

Definitely NOT bubblegum. These are hard candies. The only truth to the packaging is that they are sour. Another disappointment is that there are only 10-12 candies in the bag. Not worth $9.99.

Super sour on the outside, sweet candy flavor on the inside. Best I've had from barnetts yet. These are fun to give to friends and watch their reactions. Lol
