The material is durable and flexible while feeling smooth on the skin. It's thin enough to be cute, thick enough to feel strong and not droop with a pendent added. No more stray hairs getting tangled in a chain. No more fighting with tiny claps to change pendants. Occasionally the wonderful clasp will find its way around to the front, but you can hardly tell as it's also black and there is no little chain tail. Its very comfortable to work, shower, and sleep in. Very versatile and fits exactly how I intended. I would recommend this to all my friends and family, even and especially those with limited motor skills that still love to wear cute pendants and charms. Or just as is it's beautiful.

Absolutely perfect! I got the 15" for a small Egyptian Ramhead pendant I've worn everyday for the last 35 yrs! I have been looking for something EXACTLY like this for, yes, 35 yrs now! I have always just used thick shoe laces or leather strap & tied it around my neck, then cut it off & replaced it when it began to deteriorate. This choker is perfect in every way, durable braided waterproof leather & an amazing, almost seamless flat clasp! Highly recommended! Oh & also, I am a guy, ha ha only telling you this because it is advertised as "short choker for female's small neck" but it is extremely versatile for a male or female.

But it's NOT! It's a fancy name for fake leather, Leather Silk is the term, now is it soft? YES. Is it well made? YES. Do I like it? YES. Ordered the 30" as the 28" is good and I can somewhat easily put it over my 24" head, but ordered the 30" as I expect a bit longer by 2" and hang a bit lower. The clasp is not easy to undo and that's good. I only wished that it was 100% real Leather but it feels good and looks very good not just yet sure how long it will wear? So far I could not find a better Leather like or "Silk Like" necklace here on Amazon.

I ordered the 2mm, 20” cord. However, when I put it on, it was definitely too long. When I tried to unclasp the cord, it was really hard to do. After finally getting the cord off, I measured it and found it was actually 21”. So, I plan to return this one and order an 18” cord hoping it is actually 19”. The 2mm cord is also very slim so I'll try the 3mm size. Hopefully, the 2nd try will be what I'm looking for. Update: Here is what I sent to the seller: Hello…I ordered the IOYYIO Flexible Waterproof Braided Leather Necklace Cord Chain for Men Women, 2MM/3MM Rope Chain for Pendant 16" 18" 20" 22" 24" 26" 28" 30" 32" (Gift Box.) I ordered the 2MM 20” cord, but it is 21” which is too long. I want to return the one I received and purchase a shorter one. Since the 20” was 21”, would the 18” actually be 19”? I will also probably order the 3mm rather than the 2mm cord. And here is the reply from the seller: Yes, we originally followed the standard size, but I don't know why many buyers feedback that it's too short, so we made the actual size 1 inch bigger. The 3MM is also the same 1 inch bigger, 3MM is suitable for men to carry. Tip: If you want the rope to soften quickly, you can soak it in water for about ten minutes and then take it out. thank you for your purchase. So, I purchased the 3mm 18” option and it is 19” long which works for me. The clasp on this one is also much easier to open, but also stays closed until I choose to open it. I also like that I can wear it all the time including when I'm in the pool or shower. It is very sturdy and comfortable to wear.

I've been on the lookout for a necklace for a long time. As a male, I've had trouble finding something subtle yet durable that doesn't shine so people can see me from the next street. So you understand why I really like this necklace; I used a long hair elastic double folded over my neck. It would be a pain to take it out so I showered and play sports with it. The pain of cleaning was considersble. I found this item after some research and thought to give it a try. Here are the basic points: • The length is just about right, for the given size you ordered (depending on your neck width) • The touch is smooth but sturdy, it is NOT stiff or clumpy (think like just leather) • It dries at a good pace (does NOT stay wet for long, think 30 min at crazy maximum, and if it does, you don't feel it). • I got the turning clamp option, which works really well. Has not come undone despite playing soccer three times a week for the past month or so. • It came on a nicer box, could be better but I was expecting to come on a plastic wrapping, so that was a nice surprise. Is not terrible in case you are thinking about sending as a gift. Overall it's a great product. Here my only draw back: It's expensive for what it is. It cost $10 or so. It's a simple necklace that does it's job. I dare not say how much it costs to labor and put something like this together, plus the profit, but I wouldn't think more than $5-6 tops. Don't take my comment for granted, there are many things we tend to overpay for the convenience. I'm glad I found it and I would buy it again (so far). At the end of the day I really got what I wanted and I pay $10 for it. I'm happy I get to wear my feather around (see photo).

The necklace feels very sturdy and easy to put on compared to a lobster clasp. I pendant I bought this for I wear all the time, while sleeping, and sometimes in water so I appreciate the quality and comfort of this. I hope it will last a long time. My last necklace lasted about 6 months under constant wear, so I hope I can get more use from this one. Edit: It has certainly lasted longer than 6 months so far of constant heavy wear and in and out of water and I still have not seen any signs of wear or stress on it. Great purchase! This is definitely exactly what I've been looking for. Purchase this if you need a durable necklace cord for heavy wear.

Great quality necklace cord - have worn it in all conditions, in water, in heat, humidity, everywhere. It's still going strong and in excellent condition after over a year. Can also loop it through any pendant you like and it will look very stylish. Highly recommended
