Assembly required.
Door is heavy! Assembly required. Actually worked out as otherwise very difficult for us to get upstairs. Note the glass panels have a coated and non coated side - would be better with them facing same way. A little rattling when moves so we caulked glass panels but if do it on the coated side of the glass it messes with the opacity. Caulk worked great on just the sides. Looks good from far, looks a little cheap up close (Seams, plastic coating, and little plastic caps on holes from assembly). But great value if you want something cheap and cheerful. Works great for us. We paired with a top mount barn door track sold separately.

Very happy with the purchase
This is a great door. Good quality, easy to assemble, straightforward to hang. The hardware is all very solid and heavy duty. To install the glass panels, it is best to partially assemble the frame leaving off only one of the long side boards. Then set the frame on on edge with the central boards installed and pointing up. The glass panels slide down into the groves in the boards, but it is much simpler in this position than trying to slide them in while it is laying on the floor. I hung a primed 1x4x8 board as a header for mounting the support bar. Be careful opening the box. The glass panes were all broken when I received the package, but the seller was immediately responsive and sent replacements quickly. I'd buy this again if I needed another barn door.

⭐️ 1 Star. Extremely Poor Quality, Misleading Instructions, and Major Installation Issues
This purchase has been a complete operational failure. The product presents multiple structural, quality, and installation challenges that create unnecessary cost, stress, and rework well beyond what is reasonable for a DIY barn door. 1. The protective film on the wood is nearly impossible to remove. It immediately slows the entire process. 2. The glass panels do not fit smoothly. You have to force them in, which risks damaging the frame. 3. The door arrives in several pieces with virtually no instructions. You get three vague drawings with zero written guidance. 4. The wood quality is extremely poor. As I inserted the glass, the wood surface peeled off like a sticker. 5. The rail is pre-drilled for 16" studs, assuming your home’s framing matches that layout. If it doesn’t, you will be forced to buy a headboard to make installation possible. 6. The instructions are vague to the point of being useless. There is no way to prepare for what you actually need. 7. If you have baseboards or lower trim, the floor guide will not work. You’ll need additional tools and modifications not mentioned anywhere. 8. If you have trim around your door opening, you will also need a headboard. None of this is disclosed. 9. The rail arrived bent. It was not straight, and I could not fully install it to see if it would correct itself. 10. The sizing is misleading. This will NOT fully cover a 36" opening as advertised, buyers must size up. 11. No pre-drilled holes for the handles, and no guidance on placement, making installation guesswork. 12. I bought two of these doors, and now I’m stuck. Disassembling them without causing damage is nearly impossible, which means returning them isn’t even a realistic option. At this point, I am frustrated, disappointed, and genuinely upset. The product took forever to ship, and now, right before a housewarming event, I’m left with two unusable doors and no time to fix the situation. To move forward, I will now have to bring in a professional installer, adding even more cost to an already poor investment. Bottom line: I cannot recommend this product. The quality, instructions, and overall experience are far below expectations. Save yourself the headache and avoid this purchase.

Beautiful Upgrade with a Modern Touch
This sliding barn door completely transformed the room. It looks modern, clean, and high-end. The frosted glass adds privacy while still allowing light through. Very happy with how it turned out—definitely a great upgrade for any space.

Missing hardware and some items with defects. Overall decent product.
Overall decent look, but major quality control issues. Once assembled, the door looks great, but getting it there was a major headache. The kit was missing the hardware to attach the rail wheels, and several nut inserts were either missing entirely or installed off-center. I had to source my own parts from Lowe’s and spend extra time using wood filler and re-drilling holes to make the rails fit. It felt like quality was sacrificed for production speed. If I could do it over, I would have purchased a fully assembled door instead of dealing with these repairs.
