FREESKY Electric Bike for Adults, 3500W BAFANG Motor, 48V 35Ah LG Battery

This ebike is unreal! It’s like what I imagined being in the future would be like when I was a kid! Very powerful motor, super heavy duty! It is a big heavy bike (almost like riding a dirt bike) but still somehow easy to ride and pedal with no assist. I get almost as many looks from gawking people as when I drive my hotrod! People call it nightrider since it’s all black. I put 140mm crank arms on it (it comes with 170mm) so I could actually keep up with the emotor while at top speed, which for me is about 33mph. (It has to be unlocked with a code that I got from freesky tech support otherwise it’s locked at 20mph) I upgraded the shock, seat, and put a shock absorbing seat post on it which made it super comfortable and smooth even on rough terrain at high speeds. I also ordered the bag that amazon recommended (JXFUKAL) it expands to 40L and fits perfectly on the rack! My first ebike got stolen so I bought the biggest lock and chain I could find on amazon. I also put a hidden airtag (hidden under the water bottle cup holder) and an alarm on it! Take precautions ebikes are a highly stolen item nowadays. Great value for the money. I researched ebikes for weeks and this was the one I really wanted, it has all the features I wanted at about half the price of other equivalent ebikes. At max power and speed it probably goes 60 miles. I’ve never tested it all the way to zero percent but that’s my guess based on battery percentage. At a low power assist level I can ride for dozens of miles and the battery barely drains, if I had to guess it would probably go at least 180 miles (probably more) at low power on flat road. If you’re thinking about getting an ebike I don’t think you can do much better for the money!

I have used it for 5 days now and wow, what a piece of machinery. Very high quality frame and weld points. Tons of customizations you can make e.g. suspension, speed cap, seat of course, the positioning of of the handle-bar equipment, etc. I will say this is a very fast and quiet bike though so I would caution buying this for a 13-18 year old. It's more for adults who have experience on motorcycles and understand how traffic works or even if you are in the rural areas how to watch for wildlife and potholes. As for assembly, it took me around 40 minutes to unbox it by-myself. Assembly took me around an hour and wasn't confusing at all (I am mechanically retarded). The user manual that comes with it gives a step-by-step assembly procedure. There are also some great videos you can watch on the assembly procedures. As for the capping and uncapping the speed limit on the bike, I would suggest the following: *Every time you start it up, by default it is in 20mph cap "mode" *Spend 4-5 days learning the procedures, feel, throttle, breaking, etc. *When you feel comfortable going faster on the bike, start it up and hold the right arrow ==> button for 3 seconds or so. For mine the first time I did this it said "32" and I was completely confused. I could still only go 20mph. That's because 32kmph=20mph. Hold the right arrow again and you should see 99. That means you have no speed cap. Best part of the bike - if you pedal while you are going downhill or on flats, the battery recharges itself really quickly. My commute to work is 7 miles through the hills of of PA and I get to work and I still have 100% battery charge. Also, in my opinion it's a very clean, well designed, and sharp looking bike. Worst part - They forgot the bracket that holds my tail-light onto the seat post. I emailed them and they are 2-day UPS'ing me the part on Monday. So, if you are single, have a "shortish commute", and want to save 10k-12k year on a car, get this bike. Get a Walmart+ membership have have your food and stuff delivered! LOL.

Alright i rarely ever write reviews for anything but this bike is worth the review. This is my third ebike now the first 1 was stolen and the second one i gave up on because it kept falling apart so i decided to give this brand a try and it is hands down not even fair competition how much better this bike is then the previous 2 i owned. Every single aspect of this bike is better the power speed definitely build quality battery life everything about this bike so far has been absolutely amazing. The battery life is exactly as advertised unlike the last 2 brands i owned and i mean exact to the mile i dont pedal whatsoever and im getting 70 miles out of this battery this is my daily mode of transportation as my license is suspended for another year so im very happy i hit the lotto with this brand this time finally. Ive owned it a month now and have 200 miles on it so far its very fast ive gotten it up to 40 mph so far and i truly could not be more pleased with this bike. Customer service is amazing as well they respond same day every single time iv contacted them with questions most of the time responding within 30 minutes this is an amazing company and i will never gamble and buy another bike from a company other then these guys again. Oh and one last thing i noticed that i thought was hilarious and i totally agree with my review is the 89th review on this bike now and out of 89 reviews not 1 person posted a 1 star review lol

Shipped very well protected! Easy unboxing and assembling. During assembly there were a few hitches that were easily solved. The manual was written poorly. It did not cover how to ride the bike, use any settings, nor work out issues. I wrote to them and they promised to fix all issues. You should download an owners manual before buying.

I bought this ebike because of its power, range and Samsung battery cells. Besides getting a great ebike I got the best customer service I've ever had. They custom programed me a controler with 9 PAS levels because the 5 PAS levels it had didn't work good for the park I ride in. The 9 PAS levels give me so much more control of my speed and that was way more than I ecpected them to do to satisfy me. Freesky is the best

Much research left this deal as a top 2 or three option. The added power and speed for hills, additions like the $200 custome (made for this bike) bulletproof rack made it a no brainer for me. Its so much fun, I feel like its worth twice what I paid. The downsides are weight (extra power makes this a non-issue), unbalanced suspension (full length front tube softer than rear single pivot air shock--can be upgraded easily!), and underpowered braking (can be upgraded, a little more complicated). The ride is good, feeling nimble and quick (compared to other 80-90+ lb bikes), despite a few extra pounds. I enjoy tinkering so the upgrades are very doable and optional. The sluggish breaks, given the mass of this "Swift Horse," could be a safety issue. Lets face it, more power and weight needs more brake. You get going fast very easily and cannot stop quickly in an emergency. So you have to keep the speed down, anticipate better, or do the right thing and upgrade the brakes right away. I'm riding with the original brakes for now, but I"m quite experienced and making sure this issue is not overlooked by a future buyer, to devastating result. There is a Youtube video showing suspension and braking upgrades. Great purchase, riden regularly, can be life improving fun transportation. Cheers!

I absolutely love my FREESKY E-bike! Riding daily and pushing myself further each time has been a pleasure thanks to this bike's outstanding battery life—even at top speed, I can ride up to 13 miles and still have a full charge. The pedal assist at level 3 (around 21-23 mph) makes every journey smooth and efficient. After 1.2 years and nearly 2,000 miles, the battery is still performing like new! When I needed a back fender replacement, their team took care of it promptly under warranty and even followed up to make sure everything was perfect. Wow! For the money, this bike is well worth it! I just purchased 2 of these bikes for my family and have been on the road with them the past few days since receiving them. So far, we are extremely happy with this purchase. The frame is sleek and the controls are easy to use. Assembly was so easy. My only issue during assembly was that I initially put the tail light on upside down : ) We purchased 2 of these bikes and noticed that the headlight and on one is not working, and so we placed a warranty claim. I'll post an update once we hear back. The other is fully working perfectly.

After watching some YouTube video and reading reviews I took a chance trying out the Freesky swift horse e bike. Im really impressed with the company! Yes not the highest spec bike on the market but its totally upgradable with parts. The company itself has been really responsive too. I ordered the upgraded shock and it accidentally didnt come in with it, but they express shipped it right away and i am glad I got it! Definitely worth giving a chance.

I have put 400 km on my swifthorse pro, purchased Dec 17 2025. So far the bike has been fantastic and I am very happy with the ride and the performance. There are always a few little issues here and there but I still give it a 5 out of 5. Pro's - The range on the bike is outstanding. I am using pedal assist 1 up to 3 depending on the stretch of road or trail i am on. and sometimes for fun i'll unlock it for the full speed option. I am getting about 110 km with about 25% battery left. I am not draining it all the way as per the research i have done. - The bike is very stable while riding with the fat tires and the weight. Note: I have installed flat out in the tires so i dont have to worry about flats. I also added on a stem extender to raise the handlebars 3 inches as i am tall. - The build quality and the look of the bike is a head turner. Beautiful bike. I wanted green, but they were out so i got the blue which is still very sharp. - The 4 piston hydraulic brakes are very strong. Stops you quickly. - Customer Service from Freesky is top notch. Its always scary buying online and what support you'll get. they have been great. Cons - The bike is heavy, which i knew beforehand. Just understand this when buying. For me i prefer this for stability but it is heavy. - The stock rear shock is okay. I am big guy 225lbs, so any hard bump and the rear shock bottoms out. No option to stiffen it. I know Freesky sells an upgrade. i will likely just get one off amazon thats a bit cheaper. - The rear fender rattles against the rear bike rack when going over any bump.. nty a huge deal but an irritant. Be nice if it was connected to the rack so it wouldn't do this. I'll likely just wrap a small cushion around the bike rack bar making the contact to deaden the noise. As mentioned overall i am very happy with the bike and will likely get my wife a step thru version later in year. My brother also rode it and right sway said he wants one :). Hopefully as long as its maintained and taken care of, will last me a few years.

This bike has an updated controller with a speed unlock that I've ordered I'm looking forward to getting it. Top speed is not as described but am hoping the new controller will be much better

My husband loves his bike, had a few issues but they were taken care of by Freesky, no question asked.

It would be a great bike if it was made and supported locally. The rear wheel bearing (i suspect) has been making noise since week 1. It is now week 5 and the solution has been to send me to a local bike shop.They don't know the product,it will cost me hundreds and likely void the warranty if I do that.Who wants that hassle for a 2500$ bicycle after a week or a few weeks?NOBODY. Save yourself the trouble and find a local e-bike company. This bike has great potential but it just falls short with the communication/service issues.
