Lactate Pro strips provide accurate and reliable indicators of blood lactate levels. As a cycling coach I used these for several years. There are some caveats though. You have to respect the limitations of these strips. They have a real shelf life, they must be kept refrigerated, and they should be used shortly after opening the wrapper. If you work within these confines, you should see the desired results almost every time you use them. I say 'almost'. Over a span of years, I found about two or three strips per hundred are bad.
