Birds delight
The birds devour these fat balls, they are fighting to get at them, whereas neighbours bird feeders are not touched. Delivery is always quick and well packaged

Relatively fair price
A few short but perhaps packers go by weight not numbers. Can source cheaper offline but bought for speed and convenience

Birds love them, the balls dont fall apart and good value for money.
I am a 'twitcher' and these little gems certainly bring in a real entourage. The only downside is that they also attract pigeons, seagulls and small parties of conservative MP's who have incorrectly interpreted the item description. The MP's and seagulls are easy to dispel, but the damn pigeons keep eating the balls until they are unable to fly. They then become compulsory members of our dogs 'learn to burn those balls' club. It has its success stories but those who fail end up as dog meat -)

Disintegrate, but the birds like them!
Absolutely fell apart. After being outside for a day or so in the rain (because it's winter and we are in the North of England so it's always raining!), I watched a jackdaw peck a fat ball and it just disintegrated into a rain of bits. The little birds and collared doves thought it was Christmas (again!) but the plants and paving stones beneath my feeders are now a swampy mess of suet and bits. All in all the birds like them, but they have the worst structural integrity of fat balls I've ever seen. Expect a carpet of mush, not for them to stay in the feeders...
