Medium lifespan, still a good value
I bought these in January 2024, and 3 of the 6 bars have failed within the last month, so life span for me with regular use was 2.5 years (probably about 1,500 hours). At this price, I don't know that you can really complain about that though, and I would still buy them again. The lights are bright, even, easy to install and replace, and they do not flicker. All lights worked perfectly out of the box, and half of them failing at nearly the same time (I assume the other half will fail shortly which is why I am ordering more) indicates consistent manufacturing. Just be aware that these aren't built to last 10 years or something, and are disposable. Lifespan roughly equivalent to an incandescent bulb.

Spiffy
I'm impressed with the amount and quality of light these produce. I gave them a double-take when I opened the package, but I plugged one in and it was bright enough that I wanted to install them. They are extremely light weight, you could wield one around like a toy light sabre, and are easy enough to install, just screw in a couple of clips, and snap the light into the clips, plug it in and you are on your way. I have a 12 x 24 storage building/work shop. I put two over the work bench, the remaining 6 spaced out through the building and is enough to well light the building. (see photo) The set comes with a nice variety of clips, connectors, screws, extension cords, etc, that should be more than enough for nearly any installation. I really don't know about the grounding other reviewers are talking about. There are two connectors included that is meant for hard-wiring into a junction box, or perhaps a self made wire hookup, which is the only connection that has a ground wire to it, however I don't know what you would ground this to anyway. The light assembly is mostly plastic, so I don't know what you would ground anything to in the first place. Each of the LED sections must have some type of minimum internal power supply which powers the LED's which by the way, are all sold state devices. That's it. What are you wanting to ground? I don't remember the last time I've even had a laptop that had a ground plug on the power pack, there's no point in it as far as I can see, not the mention these draw very little power, 22 watts each. Which brings me to my last point, connecting multiple units. Each of these are inter-connectible with each other and can be added to, and added to, for how many sections? Each section (per listed spec data) is 22 watts, if you add 10 sections, that's 220 watts which is about 2 amps of power. The first connection will be handling the load for the entire length of what you have added down the line. I wouldn't get too carried away with adding multiple units, as per the sellers images/description states you can connect all 8 of these together, and that seems very reasonable, but I would give some thought to connecting more than say 8 or 10 of these, and while it may work, it might be pushing the limit of what the wiring or the LED sections can safely handle, and that's never a good idea. (Edit: Update) Click on the 'see all customer images' and find the images and a 1 star review with burned connectors after adding 16 of these (16 x 22 watts = 352 watts or 3 amps) and you'll see what I'm talking about. Edit: I've added a photo to show these in real life. (no smirking at my messy workbench). This showing just how well these lit up my entire work space. Overall, I like 'em.

Great for starting seedlings
Very bright, easy to put up. I bought these 6 yrs. Ago for seed starting, so theyโre only on for 3-4 months. Theyโve lasted well. I kept the box and put everything back in so it takes up little space in my closet. I used Fluorescent for years and they work well too, but these take up such little space, are lighter in weight, and shoot out a wider area of light. My seedlings have responded the same as fluorescent so no difference there. As said I bought mine in 2019 for a lightening deal of $47. So the price with a coupon hasnโt changed much. These are definitely worth it if your using them for plants. As you can see in the photo I pushed 2 indoor greenhouses ( Iโve had for over 20 years.) together and cut the middle out. The 4 ft. Bulbs work perfect within. The chains allow for adjustable height. The bulbs weigh maybe a pound, very light. Kit comes with 4 plug ins connectors, and hard wire. Chains and clips for height. The clips have a hole so the light could be screwed to the ceiling.

Replacing my old fluorescent lights... cheap and easy
I had previously bought a case of their warm white, so this case was the bright white version where I want the bright white light. They have worked out very well. They are easy to install, and come with switched cords, pigtails, and hardware to mount them. With the huge replacement cost of T-8 and T-12 fluorescent bulbs now, I have simply mounted many of these units to the fluorescent fixture reflectors for less cost than a replacement fluorescent bulb [or about the same cost if you bought a case of fluor. bulbs], and they work great, and is a lot less work that taking the old units down. [Note: they must be wired into the 120V line, NOT the fluorescent ballast.] They are very lightweight, very bright, and I haven't had any of them go bad on me. And nice to have those old fixtures now come on instantly with these LEDs, even in the barn and shop when it's cold, with none of that fluorescent bulb flickering and darkening with age. When I go through this case, I'll buy another to finish going through the old lights on the farm.

Great value
I bought these to replace two 8 foot florescent twin bulb units in my garage. Have been wanting to move away from the florescent for a while; works great in the summer, flickers in winter. These Barrinas come packed pretty well. A cardboard tray with connectors, mounting hardware, etc., and underneath were the eight light units. No damage, everything in good shape. I went ahead and tested all 8 units prior to install - nothing more irritating than to spend the time installing something and finding out it doesn't work for whatever reason. All was good. On to install. And to a pet peeve of mine. The mounting hardware included with these are junk. One mounting clip broke, and the screws included for them are soft and strip out far too easy. I'm a professional carpenter by trade, so I had replacement screws to use on hand. However, IMO, it is just stupid for these manufacturers to cut corners with hardware; it just ruins what would otherwise have been an impressive experience with their product overall. A penny or two extra isn't going to cut into the profit margin THAT much, Barrina, spring for better hardware. Having said all that, I would suggest you have #6 x 1/2 or 3/4 screws on hand (sheet metal or wood, depending on where you'll mount these) and just throw away the supplied screws. On to the lights themselves. Very light. This makes it easy to install them, and gives you a lot of flexibility as to where you'll mount them. I originally looked at getting the supplies I needed to make my own LED lighting, and after pricing all the DIY stuff necessary, figured out these were about the same price. All the cording, and connectors worked flawlessly. Took me about an hour to install all 8 (would have been less if not for the mounting hardware issues, grrrrrrrr). In a 12' x 20' garage, 8 does a pretty good job of general lighting for the space. These are bright, but not overly so. I will probably still use some workstation lighting in addition to these. They do exactly what I wanted them to, though, which is to give me good overall lighting. I would give this product 5 stars if it wasn't for the mounting hardware being junk. Overall, though, I think they are a good value, especially if - like me - you were originally thinking of DIYing LED lighting.

WOW! BEST BUY I'VE MADE IN YEARS!
These beat the HECK out of the old two-tube metal hanging lights of old. These are bright and easy to connect and hang. The tiny screws tend to pull out of the ceiling and walls once the light is added to the bracket and rail, so I had to use dry wall anchors and a slightly bigger screw instead and it works great. Just two lit up the garage great, but I put all seven out there as I hate looking for stuff in the dark or in dim light, especially during the winter months. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! CFL's were nice, but typically take time to warm up to bright levels, plush they break easily. These lights are safe and durable! These lights are instant on, instant bright, and amazing! The whole garage is lit like daylight! One hint: Besides maybe needing wall anchors, you can put the brackets anywhere on the rail, which is nice, but it's very easy to end up with a slanted fixture. It won't affect how it works, but it might look funny when you are finished. So, I recommend measuring and using a level to get the brackets straight, especially when mounting to a ceiling. A tremendous buy! The best purchase I've made in a long, long time! Oh, I put the 8th one over the washer and dryer per my wife's request as otherwise the light from the ceiling light fixture was behind her making it hard to see stains, etc. Another easy mount with the brackets and the bigger screws I was using--right into the ceiling joists. She can click it on and off with the button as she doesn't want it on all the time. Otherwise, I could have hooked it into the existing fixture to come on with the wall switch. I'm going to get more of these to hook to the garage door opener to replace the dim 60 watt bulbs. Two of these--for each outlet in the door opener will light the way in the darkest of nights and then I can always get out and flip on the other 7 if I need to have more light. I've never been more pleased. I had to show all of the kids and my wife one at a time how bright it was. They know I'm picky about products working and being of value and so they were glad to see I was pleased, plus they got a kick out of me being able to put them up so quickly and easily and then boasting the praises of the lights! GREAT JOB to the company that makes these!!!! 5 stars isn't enough. Maybe 8 out 8--one for each light I bought! Oh, what the heck! 10 stars!!! **********

Very Happy!!!! Bright, Low cost, Easy Install
Extremely happy with these. First off lets give some detail. This is a pack of 8 lights. Each light comes with two mounting clips, two screws, one connector that let's you connect one light to the other (No cord. They but up end to end, nice and tight for a clean look.), and one end cap to block off the exposed connections on the other end of the light. This package of light also comes with 4 power cords with switches on the cord, two hard wire cords without switches, and six cords that allow you to daisy chain the lights (39 inches long). There are different package deals on Amazon that have different options if this one won't suit your needs. There is one that has 10 light all with power cords that have switches on them. So look for that if this one doesn't suit your needs. Pros: Super light wright. Very low profile, no shroud so the light spreads throughout the room really well. I love how they can connect end to end without a cord. That makes for a super clean install in the right application. Very bright! Color is bright white but not blue. The mounting clips can mount anywhere along the entire length of the housing. These aren't built to be tough and rugged but due to their light weight I wouldn't have any issue using them as a drop light while working under a car or anywhere else for that matter. The two most important things are that these work and they are by far the best deal on LED shop lights I have ever seen. I don't know that you can beat this price!!! Cons: I'm pretty damn sure these do not meet UL standards. The switches on the cords seem really cheap. This could be an issue for someone who really needs that switch if it fails. It's easy enough to replace or eliminate but not everyone is comfortable rewiring things like that. The screws that come with the mounts are extremely low quality. It's very easy to strip them even when using the proper size of screw driver. Given the cost of the lights none of the cons I listed are an issue for me at all. I get it. There is always a trade off when getting something significantly cheaper than the rest. If these lights last there isn't a better deal on the market that I've seen.

Most important info on these: They are Bright, linkable, take minimal wattage, and easy to install
I have bought these 3 different times and unfortunately, and mind you this is a minor grievance, the price has gone up every time, even last time I paid 40 or something close in 2021. Those, by the way, are still going along with the other two sets and I bought 2x8pk twice. The only "failure" I have had was the inverter/switch that comes with each. I have several extras in storage as I linked almost all of them to each switch in series. That being said, if you say, had 4 per inverter-switch, it would probably be better as there wouldn't be as much strain on the inverter electronics or switch. That being said, the switch was pretty crappy/cheap. I made one my self with the internal electronics being kept intact. It resolved the issue. That being said, if you have some lights stop working, try replacing the cord that actually plugs into a receptacle, since that is the actual part that powers all of the lights downstream. I have a basement close to 2000 Sqft and ~14-16 of these down there... They are freaking bright, and for real, they almost felt like toys they are so lightweight. The retention clamps that mount them, are pretty darn flimsy and if you ever have to remove them and reinstall, be careful they break easily and the screws are pretty brittle also... I never used the screw, used some I had since they were going into more denser wood then I would imagine is the norm. I can attest that I have had not 1 single LED or set go out and I have had several of these installed and the ones in the basement have years of run time on them, as I work there a majority of the day. I have all of them hooked to one circuit breaker: 15a and 120v and I have never had it pop or even come close. I haven't checked in a while but I have what I mentioned and a few 2x4 led drop ceiling leds that I purchased also when there was a drop ceiling down there and I will say this, previously, I had 2x8' fluorescent lights and 2 4' ones and they would, in the event of using my belt sander or drill press, cause the Circuit breaker to pop. These even with all the light output are significantly lighter in the power consumption and considerably higher in the lumen output. I give em sincere props!!!

Bright and Perfect Lighting for My Room
I recently bought the Barrina T5 LED Shop Light 8-pack, and Iโm really happy with it. The lights are bright and fill my entire room perfectly. Installation was quick and easy, and they are lightweight but powerful. The 6500K color gives a clean, bright white light that makes everything look clear. Definitely worth the priceโgreat for any space that needs strong lighting. Highly recommend!

Nice light, wrong plugs supplied
The cables provided are non-Australian plugs so a plug adapter was required. I would have expected AU plugs supplied by an AU supplier.

Bought these as growlights
Though these are not marketed as grow lights, on research, the lumens are supposed to be bright enough to be used as such. I set up 4 of the lights on a shelving unit with zip ties on a single plug and kept the others as spares. They were very easy to assemble and connect. There is a warning about the number of lights that should be connected consecutively so certainly keep that in mind. These lights are very bright white and if too many are set up in a living area might be uncomfortable. I had them in a storage room on a shelving unit, so this was not an issue for me. I was able to start and grow numerous plants under them with no issues as long as I kept the smaller ones closer to the lights themselves. In fact, before moving my plants (mostly tomatoes) outside, some were as high as 1.5' with no problem. The plants under actual grow lights were slightly greener, but I didn't mind this as once moved outside those under these lights greened up quickly, and I will only use these lights to start my plants inside in the spring. They would certainly brighten a shed or garage. As for their longevity, I have only used them for this spring and for no more than 12-15 hours a day, turned off at night. All remained functioning for this growing season. I certainly recommend them for this purpose or for general lighting.
