Very happy with these pens. I bought them for a project with my 11 yr old niece. She is drawing on quilt blocks and we are going to make a quilt of her drawings and some of her favorite fabrics. We made a small project first and it's already been washed twice and the color seems to be staying. I would buy these again.

I purchased these because I loved the larger ones I had gotten from Gangnam and needed a fine tip. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer and have not yet heard anything. The problem is my first use was fine with the markers but 2nd + attempt/use and they aren’t working, none of them are. If they write, after a long time shaking them and depressing the nib, either a tiny bit of runny ink comes out that’s not the correct consistency or color and it scratches across the paper. The suggestion is to remove the nib, soak it in warm water for 5 minutes, and scrub it with a toothbrush. For every use? Yeah, NO. I’ve been trying to use these again for days now and fear I’m going to have to return them. I really wanted to like them. Heads up, the brand name is ZiBeef, but they say they are manufactured by Guangna. I’ve spent so much time making swatches and putting them in color order. It’s a huge let down not to be able to use the markers. Well, I was able to use them once, only long enough to make a swatch. That’s why I gave a generous 2 stars. Maybe my set is defective? Update: the seller responded and told me to remove the nibs, soak in warm water for 3-5 minutes dry the nibs and replace them for all 168 markers every time I have an issue. When I told them that wasn’t a viable solution to the problem they closed the ticket and didn’t reply with further instructions or suggestions. Buyer beware.

Once you get these markers going, the paint is vibrant and rich. However, unless you're a professional artist (and maybe even if you are), you might not have the patience required to set them up and keep them working. It took me a solid half hour of shaking each pen individually just to get the ink to flow to the nib. Trying to shake multiple at once doesn't really help. I had to alternate between pressing the nib on paper and shaking repeatedly, which eventually got each marker working—but that process is tedious and time-consuming. I initially thought the color payoff might make it worthwhile, but having to shake them almost every time before use makes them feel like more trouble than they’re worth. They did include extra nibs, which was appreciated, but it turned out to be necessary—two broke right away. You also need to apply quite a bit of pressure for a smooth, consistent stroke, so I wouldn't recommend these for kids. Overall, these markers will serve as our backup set, but after just a few days of frustration, I wouldn’t purchase them again.
