I do not usually write reviews but I have to for this one. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin that is still prone to acne--even at 51. There are so many skin care products that I cannot use that it's maddening (retinols, Vit C, hyaluronic acid, etc.). But I decided to try this and I am amazed. It is truly a little miracle for me. It is hydrating, feels so nourishing to my skin, and does not cause breakouts. My skin tone is firmer, more plump, mild wrinkles are hydrated and smoothed out. And I usually cannot put anything under my eyes or my eyes react (that means zero cream of any kind), but this I can put under my eyes and my eyes do not react. It's amazing! I am so happy to have found this! Everyone's skin is different so I can't promise that your skin will react like mine has, but I do think it's worth a try if you are like me and have struggled with finding skin care that works for you.

This light weight serum has kept my skin hydrated and glowing. I use The outset eye cream and moisturizer as well and highly recommend this product line.

I recently answered a question for someone who asked if The Outset is for older women. I will be 75 next month. Like many women my age, I have tried countless skin care lines over the years, ranging in price from moderate to ridiculous. There is nothing I've used that is as effective as or makes me as happy as The Outset. After cleansing my skin, I use the prep serum, the vitamin C eye cream, the squalane daily moisturizer, and the face oil, in that order and only at night before bed. My skin is beautiful, probably for the first time since I was sixteen. I had become so fed up with wasting money on products that promise miracles for women my age and deliver nothing. I have not been disappointed by Scarlett Johansson's line; it is worth every penny and is now, with very few exceptions, the only line of skin care I will use. She doesn't make wild promises, and I appreciate that; she tells you how to use the products and what you can expect. She and her partner spent years developing this line. I recommend starting with the serum and the moisturizer if you're hesitant to invest in multiple products. The Amazon prices aren't much lower than other vendors for this line, but you can try the products and return them if you're not happy. Seriously, I could see and feel the difference by the second day. It will not erase the wrinkles we've earned, but it does smooth fine lines and has dramatically improved the texture of my skin over the past month. In addition to The Outset, I use Dr. Kaplan's Diamond Contour 1 Minute Daily Facial morning and evening (another product I will never be without as long as I can afford it). We deserve to be beautiful at any age.
