“Natural Truffle Flavor” is a chemical, not made from truffles. From what is this additive on the label made?

This is my favorite seasoning. The ingredients listed include pecorino cheese, natural flavors, potato flour, salt and black summer truffles. The label states gluten-free and all natural. There are black summer truffles in this seasoning, not natural truffle flavoring.

Great flavour

Love this stuff and have re-bought multiple times - has enough flavour that you can really taste it but doesn't take over the dish. I add it on top of things for extra flavour and don't feel the need for as much salt as I used to have. Great for things like pasta, pizza, cheesy dishes, tacos and veggies. Container seals well and seems decent value for money.
