Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Star Fade Blue Refractor Bar Tape - Cycling Road Bike Handlebar Grip Tape Wrap

Having used ( literally ) hundreds upon hundreds of different handlebar tapes over the years there are a number of brands whose products have stood out. There are even some very reasonably priced brands on amazon who do a nice grippy PU tape that stretches well so that you can get a professional looking wrap. All that being said in my humble opinion there's not much that comes close to Supacaz, It is as tacky as the old lizard skinz stuff without being obnoxiously thick or have that rubberised look and if you can find a colour or pattern that matches your frame in some way it's well worth the premium price. the excellent bar ends are just a bonus. it's actually good value given how hard wearing it is and the choice of colours and designs is excellent. There's copy stuff out there that while ok doesn't actually come close

Bike tape can be a mixed bag when buying unseen. This tape has a nice thickness so it comfortable to grip. The design is snazzy and helps to be more visible. The bar ends are plastic but can be tightened using an Allen key which will prevent it from falling out. The tape itself has sticky back strip to help fix to the bike frame. They even supply tape for the final fixings around the top of the handle bars that matches the design of the tape. Really can’t fault it and highly recommend

This tape is easy to wrap round the bike, fits well and has plenty of length to cover all sizes. The padding is good and grip excellent. It also comes with some plugs that can be fitted securely with an Allen key. The only drawback is the price for me, I think you can get similar quality for slightly cheaper. Otherwise it's excellent.
