Vesa Adapter Kit for Sony W6/W7/W8 TV

Excellent product to use with SANUS table stands. It is expensive for what it is, but if you would like to hang your TV on a table stand or using a non-Sony wall bracket you will need it. Please note that your Sony TV could have come with the Sony wall bracket (check your box and manuals, it could save you money). It works perfectly with my SANUS stand. As I did not want to drill the wall, I had to buy it. Recommend

Many thanks for producing a solution to Sony's insistence on not manufacturing these series ifBravia TVs with standard VESA fixing points. This adapted worked perfectly and enabled MT to mount my tv on a standard cantilever wall mount. A great, low-cost solution and Icannot recommend this product highly enough.

Worked perfectly on my Sony KDL-42W829. 2 long bolts with the short threaded portion screw into the thin part of the TV. The top of these bolts then become level with the thick part of the TV, and it effectively turns it into a VESA compatible TV. You then use the 4 remaining screws to attach the TV to mounting rails. This is much cheaper than the £50 Sony solution, but still pretty expensive for what is basically 6 bolts and 4 spacers. It does the job flawlessly though.

Due to design alterations made by Sony I had to use this adaptation kit before I could mount my Sony KDL-42W653A to the TV bracket, Techlink TWM441 Bracket for 32-70 inch TV Screen : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LFECW4W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 The kit worked well and did not require any alteration prior to use. I highly recommend this kit if you have Sony TV in the affected range and use the same bracket.

lost the wall mount parts for our Sony TV so bought a standard VESA mount and then needed an adaptor kit (why does Sony insist of being different?!) This kit fitted perfectly and feels secure.
