CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser for Dry, Rough and Bumpy Skin, 236ml

I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks now, and it's made a noticeable difference to my skin. It cleanses thoroughly without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight, and it has helped smooth some of the rough, bumpy areas over time. The formula is gentle enough for regular use, and I like that it's fragrance-free and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It lathers lightly, rinses off easily, and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than expected. This cleanser can come up quite expensive but I managed to snag an amazing deal on Amazon for a huge 473ml bottle after firstly trying a smaller bottle and really liking it. The huge bottle honestly lasted about 4 or 5 months, even with almost daily use on my body so I was impressed, might justify the full-price expense. A little goes a long way and it really makes the skin feel clean, smooth and refined. I use for the body to keep bacne/body acne under control and it really helps, but only with consistent, daily use, like most things. It also makes the skin really soft and helps with those little bumps, so great for dry skin. The cleanser doesn't tend to dry out the skin but feels likes its doing something useful without stinging. It's not highly perfumed at all which is good but has a very slight medicinal but clean/fresh smell. I switched to another cleanser that came recommended for my skin concerns (Panoxyl) but that is harder to get hold of. Going to see if that performs better as it's early days, but I'd have no issue going back to this especially if I could get a great deal again.

I'm 64 with normal / dry skin. I tend to focus my skin care priorities to serum/ moisturiser / face mask and find any decently priced cleanser ok.... but I have to say I've bought this one a few times. It's economical as lasts ages, a little goes a long way. I'm old fashioned and for all the fancy cleansing balms ect I still like the experience of a lather/ soap wash especially in summer when I'm caked in high factor suncream ( more essential than anything for anti aging) dirt from gardening and being in contact with grubby children! My skin always feels thoroughly clean , no redness or dryness and ready for serum / moisteriser after. Highly recommend even for older skin

The nearly empty bottle is the one I got in store. The full one is the bottle I bought from Amazon. Normally they are a bit fuller when you buy them new, but the colours are off from the original. ALSO there's a printing difference at the back that says L'Oréal in the new one but not the old one? Maybe they changed formulas but it's suspicious ... EDIT : Nvm I think this cleanser is okay. It smells and feels the same so it's usuable. This cleanser is good if you need Salicylic acid but not too drying. It lasts a long time too like 4-6 months. I go through about 2 of these in a year. It has no fragrance but has a cosmetic soapy ingredient smell. This is my go to cleanser because it's the balance between hydrating and cleaning.

This cleanser has really cleaned up my acne. It is gentle but really makes my skin feel so clean and smooth. I use to have little bumps all over and definitely think this cleanser is what cleared that up. Great value for money as only need one pump and it foams up a lot. Good quality and not drying.
