Excellent TV, I bought it for the non-reflective screen as I have a very sunny lounge. I couldn't watch TV really until after sunset or closed all the blinds during the day. Now it's no problem, no distracting glaring reflections while watching. It's also very snappy to respond to the remotes, of which there are two. A simple intuitive one for evening viewing. Which also charges itself up from light within the room. The main remote is more for changing settings and configuration changes. Picture quality is brilliant. Sound quality is better than your average TV but I run it into a sound system for the real movie experience. Early software problems have been all resolved by updates I think as it runs perfectly for me. I would highly recommend this TV. Attached photo is midday on a very hot sunny July day in UK

A stunning, high end TV that will easily meet anyone's needs. It was easy to set up. The matte, anti-glare screen is ideal in my bright living room. The thin screen is particularly adaptable to any TV stand or being fitted on a wall; Samsung have achieved this by having a separate 'One Connect box', for all the connections, which can either fit to the back of the sturdy stand, or be placed elsewhere using the longer, alternative cable provided. The TV produces fantastic sound for such a thin screen, and I wouldn't bother with a soundbar; however, connecting to my AV receiver takes it to another level. It's pricey, though, and the jury's still out as to whether I could be satisfied with a less expensive TV.

The TV won’t stick to one consistent picture setup, because it quietly changes how it processes the image depending on the app and whether it’s SDR or HDR, so settings that look right in one place look wrong in another; and the AI picture features just make it worse by overriding or locking controls, so you can’t get one set of settings that works properly across everything. Default settings are blinding whites and impenetrable shadows. I can’t be bothered changing the settings each time I switch from Netflix to Apple or watch a film instead of a TV programme. Awful TV.

This Samsung was supposedly an upgrade from my loyal Sony 65" KD Z9 Flagship Tv. I had high expectations after reading the reviews. The first niggle was I was not able to claim the full 5yrs Samsung warranty after purchasing. This was because I purchased from an Amazon seller so I only had the 12 months warranty. Setting up was easy especially with it's one 3.5m cable running from the Tv to it's box of tricks, basically all the decoders etc.. that normally go into the back of the set. The Tv settings menu I did not like, it's not logical like my old Sony. It lacked common sense in it's structure. Settings hidden away under headers where you would not expect so this I found was cryptic and not easy to set up. Once I had it set up I disabled the AI for the vision side of things, it was just too bright and looked washed out. The sound was pretty good especially with Amazon etc.. The overall quality seemed pretty good so no complaints there. My biggest issue was it had a fault. The E-Arc on HDMI 3 started switching my amp on randomly. Then after a few days the sound output from HDMI 3 died altogether! I could have called for a repair but as it was new out of the box I was not happy doing this. Also the worry of other issues developing after the 12 month warranty was an issue. Just not good enough to have a 12 month warranty on such an expensive piece of kit. You do have consumer rights that will cover you for 6 yrs on breakdowns that few people know of but it can be hassle going down that route if something goes wrong. I contemplated returning the Tv and re-ordering direct from Samsung to get the 5 yr warranty but I am just not happy with the set. It is unreliable. Picture quality on skin tones seems washed out. The menu is not user friendly. My next Tv will be another Sony! I am an ex Tv and Video Engineer and in my opinion Sony were the best. I had many Sony Tv's over the years and only one fault which was rectified by Sony support which was very good. Reading reviews etc.. about Samsung say repairs can take a long time to fix as you deal direct with them, another off putting thought. I have to add that I am glad I did purchase through Amazon as returns are simple and straight forward. This Tv is being collected in a few days time. Well Done Amazon!

Crystal clear picture and nice fitting close on wall

On the fence between a LG G5 or Samsung S95F, multiple trips to see them both in person. Decided on the S95F as the anti glare coating did not disappoint, and picture clarity is visually stunning.

Our 55 Inch TV arrived, but would not turn on. The TV continued to reboot, freeze and then turn off and would not work at all. We hired a specialist to install the TV and he could not get this to work either! We paid £1499 for this and are waiting for a response regarding a return /refund.
