Sie ist optisch ansprechen und kommt in einem Etui daher. Sieht aus wie ein Lederetui. Der Klang ist satt und ganz wunderbar. Ich muss zugeben ich kannte bislang keine Mundharmonika mit runden Löchern. Es spielt sich viel besser damit und brauchte auch keine Umgewöhnung. Diese Mundharmonika ist 12 Löcher lang. Die Tonart ist C. Sie eignet sich hervorragend für Jazz oder Klassik. Sie liegt gut in der Hand. Der Preis schien mir erst hoch, nach dem spielen aber gerechtfertigt. East top is known for making awesome and also affordable harmonicas. And I recently received the East top 12 Hole 48 Tone Upgrade Chromatic Harmonica Key of C (EAP-12) harmonica. A chromatic harmonica is one that has a button sliding bar which will redirect air from the hole in the mouthpiece. So, pressing the button can take the scale a semitone higher for each hole. This harmonica is 12 holes long and is in the key of C. So, let's say when you have the button out, when you blow the first hole it's C and when you draw a breath, it's a D. But if you press the button, C turns to C sharp and draw turns it to D sharp. Because it is fully chromatic, the chromatic harmonica is the choice of those who use a harmonica for jazz or classical music. I also have the East top Forerunner Chromatic Harmonica and the difference aside from the fact that this EAP-12 is much more expensive ($129 vs. $46), the EAP-12 is made of precision phosphor bronze reeds, brass reedplate, brass cover with black paint. The Forerunner is made of precision-made plastic comb with phosphor bronze reeds. The other difference, is that this comes in a brown leather button lock pouch, the Forerunner comes in a plastic container. Both are very good but obviously the EAP-12 is much better in quality. I'm not a pro harmonica player by any means, nor can I compare to other chromatic harmonicas as I only have two chromatic harmonicas, both made by East top. But I really do like the East top 12 Hole 48 Tone Upgrade Chromatic Harmonica Key of C (EAP-12) a lot. Recommended!

Zuerst muss ich sagen, dass ich kein professioneller Musiker bin und daher meine Bewertung zu dieser Mundharmonika dementsprechend Laienhaft ausfällt. Geliefert wird die East Top 12 Loch, 48 Töne Mundharmonika in einem sehr edlem Lederetui mit Gürtelschlaufe und Reinigungstuch, diversen Ersatzteilen und einer leider nur Englischen Anleitung. Bei dem Preis von 130€ hätte ich die Anleitung in mehreren Sprachen erwartet. Nicht jeder ist des Englischen mächtig. Das und der hohe Preis sind die einzigen Kritikpunkte. Das Instrument hat mich sofort begeistert! Das ganze Ding ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und macht einen wirklich Top Eindruck. Die Mundharmonika liegt sehr gut in der Hand und lässt sich ausgesprochen gut spielen. Der Klang ist sehr angenehm und macht richtig Spaß. Wer ein ambitionierter Musiker ist und gerne Mundharmonika spielt wird mit dieser sicherlich viel Spaß haben. Trotz des hohen Preises kann ich dieses Instrument aus meiner Sicht uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This is a great-looking harmonica with a nice case. I like the rich well-tuned sound and the responsiveness of the slider. It’s rounded body also feels great in my hands. I use it for Stevie Wonder-style pop, since he used a chromatic in the key of C. It’s also fun for jazz and blues, though i need a dark room and easy-going listeners to really get into my blues. This is a better harmonica than a beginner harp, and when they say “professional”, i think they mean that the materials and workmanship are high quality, which they are. At this price, you are really at the fun level of the harmonicas that musicians use professionally. This harmonica is easy to open up for cleaning, but some parts are easy to lose, and some, like the slide, are easy to bend. I use a light spritz of water and a spritz of alcohol, and let it dry thoroughly. I worry that anything more drastic could damage the reeds. I only use the softest, well-made brush if i see any residue, and i dont brush the reeds because even my best brush can leave fibers that jam up the works. I clean my harmonica a little after each use, and i find it has never needed much cleaning. At least every few weeks, i put the the smallest amount of a light synthetic oil on some clean chamois, wipe off any excess, and lightly lubricate the slide, to keep the action smooth, and to protect the slide. But really, such a little amount that there is no dripping even after it sits a few minutes.
