this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob
Goodness, this is good stuff. I am a coffee snob. Can't drink just anything. This stuff is good. Strong tase, as in flavorful. No bitterness, none of that "burnt" kind of taste to it. It's smooth, great flavor. Thick and enjoyable cup. Great aroma.I've only recently discovered Kult. I've ordered I think three different origins from them. Probably my favorite is their Zimbabwe. This stuff is good too. Restores my faith in Columbian coffee, which too often can be not to my liking, cuz many roasters like to burn their Columbian beans. Personal preference, but I don't like that. Some do; to each their own.Suffice it to say that if that's the flavor you like, look elsewhere. THIS roast preserves and showcases the flavor of a true Columbian bean very nicely. Will order again. And again.

Best Flavor of ANY Coffee
This Columbia Huila is one of the best coffees I have in my arsenal. I have ground around 100 different whole bean coffees, and this is the coffee I come back to day after day. It reminds you of the coffee you would find in a small coffee shop; a super flavorful, pleasant blend. It truly is one of the best single origins you can buy. Single origins typically do not have as much flavor as multi-origin blends, because the beans are all the same flavor. But Koffee Kult has made an exception. When brewing, I have found that using 1.5-2g extra coffee than you normally would for an 8oz serving results in the best flavor. It doesnโt over power you as a โstrongโ coffee, though. It just adds the perfect amount of flavor. This coffee is a great coffee for drinking any time; morning, noon or night, this flavor never gets old. I am on my fifth bag of this Columbia Hulia, and will stick with it.In conclusion, do, buy this coffee. You will have zero regrets. The flavor is extroidinary and complex. It is always fresh, and always here in 2 days. All of Koffee Kults coffees are great (I have had all of them), but the Columbian takes the cake!

Perfectly cromulent.
For the price, it's a good medium roast. It tastes good, and has a lotta character. Plus, the bonus of being whole bean and single origin are nice. But I think it's maybe a bit pricey, and I think I'd prefer if the bigger sizes were on prime. 20 bucks for 12 ounces just seems like a bit much, but eh, I guess that's what ya get with specialty coffee.Anyhow, it's good, and if you somehow have a little extra money to spend in this economy, I'd get it over like Thousand Acre.

Used to be our Favorite
We have been drinking this first thing in the morning for the past few years, always ordered from Amazon. I use whole beans with a burr grinder and do pour over. Two orders ago my wife complained that it was bitter and we started searching, with some difficulty, for something else. Eventually I ordered a second bag of Koffee Kult and it was a bit better - on the coarsest grind and fastest brewing the bitterness was OK but as a result, not much coffee taste.Somewhat interestingly the use by date on the last order was about a year Earlier than the date on the prior order. Also, on the last order, I ordered on a Saturday and a few minutes later decided that I would try to buy direct from Koffee Kult (a bit more expensive). However, I could not cancel the Amazon order because it was already listed as shipped (about 15 minutes after order). As best I can tell the actual ship date was two days later on Monday.
