I picked up Duel: A Drinking Game for our weekend get-together, and overall it was a hit. Here’s what stood out: What I loved: This game instantly brought energy to the room. The Quick Draw duels where you stand back-to-back and race to shout an answer had everyone laughing. The rules are very easy to understand and each round goes quickly, so there’s no awkward downtime. Even though it’s designed as a drinking game, you can definitely play it without alcohol and still have a lot of fun. What could be better: After about 20 to 30 minutes, the challenges start to feel repetitive. We ended up making up our own house rules just to keep things fresh. It would be great if there were more cards or expansion options to add variety. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a light-hearted, easy-to-learn game that breaks the ice and gets people laughing, Duel is a solid pick. It works well for game nights, small parties, or bachelorette events. Just keep in mind that for longer sessions or frequent play, you may want to come up with your own twists to keep it feeling new.

I love this game! A group of us played it over Christmas. Everyone was laughing and it was Interactive. I had friends asking about this game after the party! Highly suggest. Very easy to read instructions even when having cocktails. :)

Fun concept for a drinking game! Simple rules, which is great when all anyone cares about is getting to the actual drinking part. I will say that some of the cards were duds, and as the game continued, my group was getting bored with the repetitiveness. Then again, by that time, it was time for us to leave and continue our fun elsewhere. Good way to get the party started or just to find an excuse to drink!
