Good reception, not so much for transmit.
Apparently there is a lot of inconsistency in how well this antenna works on any given frequency band. I get great reception on both 2 meter VHF and 70cm UHF with this antenna but I notice no difference in transmit on 70cm. I have a GMRS license and cannot reach any repeaters with it but I can hear them all just fine. I can’t legally transmit on 2meter so I cannot say if it transmits in that range. It might be a good cheap backup antenna to keep in a drawer or backpack. Wouldn’t recommend as a primary.

70 cm & FRS Great antenna / 2M Bad antenna
I'm going to give it 3 stars.IF you want something better than the built in duck, and you're going to use your Baofeng for 70 cm or the GRMS / FRS band, this is great, it's compact and it works well.BUT - 2 Meters / MURS is really week. MAybe even worse than a duck

Do not buy. Does not work on listed freqiencies.
This antenna is tuned to 300 mhz not 440 mhz as stated in listing. It would not work on any 440 repeaters close to me that I normally talk on with other antennas I have.
