This was a bit confusing at first, since the instructions were not immediately comprehended.Tried them with dress shirt, then polo shirt. Both worked good, just need to adjust to your comfort and neck size. You you will need to chance from shirt to shirt though depending how many you order and frequency you wear dress shirt or polo’s.I was pleasantly surprised how different / professional a polo looked. It really made a difference and nobody will know, but will notice you look polished and squared away.Additionally, this came with several regular collar stays, which will replace any others you may have and are worn out.Overall for me, it will work. It will take a minute to get comfortable getting it right, same as a tie… getting it right takes a minute unless you nail it the first time.

I bought the set with two Slick Collars in it for the same price as one. One is a bit smaller than the other. The Slick Collar worked best for me with the dress shirt I was wearing. A shirt with a thicker platen or the stiffeners in the platen in combination with the Slick Collar would have been great, but I was short on time. I also replaced the plastic shirt stays with metal ones. The open collar look was not perfect, but was pretty good.

I tried this on several polos and oxfords and it doesn't work for these shirts. Maybe is my neck size, not sure, they have three sizes but I still can't make it look like the website. Unfornutly I'm going to have to return this item, I'm going to have to rely on more starch in my collars

I was looking for a way to keep my collars upright especially when wearing a blazer. Once I figured out which size would fit better (ended up using the larger size) and the best placement under my collars, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this works. There was a bit of trial and error in finding the right hole to determine the length. The key for me was making sure the length of the pointed ends were short enough that they would be hidden under the collar. Once it’s in place, I barely noticed it. I thought the weight would bother me but after about 5 min, I totally forgot it was there. It seems like it’s pretty durable but I’m going to avoid taking the two pieces apart as I think the way they attach to each other could loosen over time. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I feel like I should’ve bought these sooner! Idk what it is, but this product gives me so much confidence because I know my collar will stay looking sharp all day. The only complaint I have is that it sometimes slightly shows under some of my collars. The outside has rubber which grips most shirts, so if you position it correctly it should mostly stay hidden. Highly recommend.

So these do help your collar stay up and “perky.” With that being said some shirts work better than others depending on the collar design. I find that if I wear a collared shirt I go ahead and put them on because they do work and help.I would say that they don’t always have as drastic of an improvement as the product description depicts, but they definitely improve the overall appearance of the collar.Also, the product I received came with those little plastic collar stays which was a nice bonus and helps too.My other concern was concealment and whether they would stay out of sight throughout the day. Well, they do stay pretty well hidden almost all the time. Again, this is an area where some collars perform better than others. I have some shirts that it will eventually show in some way or another. Then on the flip side I have shirts that have never had an issue and when I go to do my laundry the collar device is still there! LoLI recommend this product and will probably buy more if I ever lose them.
