Took a week to begin noticing any change, but my pea soup aquarium is now crystal clear.

I was a little scepitcle if this would work well as others I saw online were a lot more expensive. But it's great, the water in my axolotl tank is crystal clear and its massively reduced the build up of algae on the side of the tank and especially on my plastic plants.I wish I had took a before and after photo to show the difference.

Yes, this does do the job for an algae/bacterial bloom. I had the greenest water going. Ran it for a week on my 230L (60gal). Not much noticeable happens in the first couple of days, so bear with it. By day 4 or 5, water was almost completely clear again, and day 7, completely back to normal.The power cable is quite short, so bear that in mind. The tiny window that shows if the bulb is working is quite difficult to see if it is actually on.I did read that the plastic casing that surrounds the uv bulb melts. I didn't experience this. However, I did note apon inspection that part of the little plastic bit (see pic) seemed to have melted slightly. So this probably wouldn't be a long-term investment - although you can probably replace the bulb.All in all, very happy with the results. Good value for money. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Wow what a great product.I have a 50 gallon raised pond with six fish. I have tried all ways to rid the pond of green algae, small barley bales, good bacteria treatments.All didn’t work so I thought I’d try a UV light.I was amazed after just 4 hours it seemed to be working (pic 1).Day five the results were very good so I did a 3/4 water change (pic 2).The next day as seen in video (3) the water is pristine all I have to do now is rinse the filter daily until Seems fit.Well recommend, brilliant piece of kit.
