Taste is relative...but this is one works.
Yes, I'm giving this all the stars, but before I explain why, I do want to say: This is WAY OVERPRICED for the amount you get. Be aware that you are only getting a measly 10 ounces (the typical jar of jam off the store shelf is about 18 ounces). This product is akin to liquid gold or something, I guess. Anyway, keep that in mind before hitting the buy button. But onto why I'm giving 5 stars: It's the taste, which is really quite good! I've come to understand how the taste of all these sugar-free jams and jellies is completely relative. I read all the reviews here before buying this product, people praising it as tasting close to sugared and those lambasting it as terrible. The truth is that Nature's Hollow Mountain Berry Jam is somewhere in between, but it ultimately falls on the good/normal side. And when I say relative, what I mean is: I've blown my money on too many jars of absolutely DIRE sugar-free Smucker's and Skinny Girl from the grocery stores. It truly is all awful stuff regardless of the fruit flavor advertised, barely food-like mush tasting more of chemicals than fruit and sugar. But somehow, Nature's Hollow Mountain Berry Jam has managed to (mostly) get the consistency right (for a smooth jam that is, and NOT anything like a "preserve" as the title of the product implies--and btw, if you read negative reviews here complaining that the product is too runny, these are clearly people opening it up, sticking their finger in the jar, and writing a review without refrigerating the product first. If the jar is warm straight your mailbox, yes the product is runny. Duh. But put it in the fridge at normal temperature for a few hours and it firms up just fine). But best of all, that icky aftertaste associated with sugar-free Smucker's and their ilk is pretty much not present here. And the flavor of fruit is actually present...at least somewhat. This tastes as close to regular jam as you can imagine, though perhaps not quite as sweet overall. Still, for only 15 calories a tablespoon, I think Nature's Hollow has done a pretty darn good job looking out for us diabetic folks. But I just wish that jar was a few ounces bigger...Guess I just need to buy a few more.

Real deal
Best tasting sugar free jam I have ever had. It does have a slightly thinner consistency but this makes it easy to spread on toast or make a PBJ. Just hate that itโs a little pricey
