what is the size of each tin?

Each Tin is two and a half inches by two and half inches and five and a half inches tall.

Do the top of the tins have slits so you can use them as banks? One picture shows that they are solid and another shows slits.

The ones I got do not have slits. The tops are beautiful and I would not want a slit in the ones I have. The tea is good too.

Do I make this the way I would any tea by pouring hot water over tea bag and steeping for 3-5 minutes?
