Chili is great...someone here may have received a defected can of Wendy's Chili. I could taste the metallic taste he/she described...a bad batch of chili. Mine tasted like Wendy's best.

This chili is so amazingly good it’s flavorful full of meat and seasoning it heats well in my Mini Crockpot and it’s very filling, also one can is enough to share between two. I’ve ordered it several times. And there has been times it’s been out of stock and I’ve had to wait to reorder, and I did as soon as it was back in stock. They did not miss or go wrong by bringing this menu item to can and stores all over. Down to my last can, about to purchase more. I simply just love it.

Very mild seasoned but loaded with beans and meat.

Tastes like Wendy’s Chili. A lot better than the other canned chilis, But I still think the price for one can is kind of high.

I was surprised. Might be my new favorite. Probably not at nearly $5 a can but, putting the price aside, yeah, it's like having Wendy's away from Wendy's. Thing is, you got to follow the instructions on the can, heat it once as much as you would normal chili (and remember people think the whole can is a "serving" when in reality it's not, so you have to use your brain some and think), stir, then heat again. Perhaps even a good amount longer than the can prescribes, as I did, and before you know it, you got yourself a bowl of Wendy chili! The taste is 100% comparable. Now I see why some people have room to complain, when framing it to a fresh bowl you'd get from Wendy's direct (assuming their employees are on point - example, my closest Wendy's happens to be poorly-run, so I'm lucky if it's even lukewarm by the time I receive it, but ignoring that variable), sure the spices and peppers are going to be a bit less fresh and luscious (juicier) and of a lesser, enjoyable, savourable texture and tasteful element but everything else is there. And let's be honest, at a Wendy's drive-thru, depending on the spot and quality of management, it's a gamble. If the franchise is managed right, if you happened to show up during busy hour when the product is fresh or if you're a night owl like me and you're getting what's left after half a day, it's either fresh or it ain't. I can honestly say this is probably comparable to what the restaurant itself likely receives direct and reheats for consumers. Now, if you can get yourself a greater volume for a lesser price, fresh, go for it! Mine seems to be charging basically just about the same for even a small Chili (actually more, I just checked) so, it's not an unreasonable purchase for me. Now obviously this canned version likely has some extra fillers and preservatives (not to mention increased sodium) than what's delivered to the restaurant so it makes it "shelf-stable" and able to arrive safely from the plant to your pantry but, honestly, I for one couldn't tell the difference. It's not like most Amazon products where you have to commit yourself to a 12 or 24 pack and be stuck with a product you don't like, it's just one can. Try it. I can just about guarantee you'll like it.
