LeBlanc Summer Verbena Jumbo 64 oz Laundry wash for all regular laundry, One

I first received this as a gift. Not only does it work; your clothes smell fantastic. It is a tad pricey but you don’t have to use anywhere near as much detergent as with other fine washable brands. It is also the best fine washable detergent for pre-treating stains: just put a spoonful in a small container and add some water, dip with a soft toothbrush and rub gently on the item. The stain is gone. Well worth the money.

Smells good - not cloyingly sweet. Lasts a decent amount of time if not overused. In fact, like all laundry detergents/washes, one really can use less than directions call for most of the time. So if a person is careful, it isn't so expensive to use. Easy on the delicates. Saves energy because one uses cold water with this wash. The one thing I don't like is that Le Blanc does not provide the ingredients. I think consumers should always be provided that information, as a basic consumer right. "Biodegradable" is meaningless without knowing what the ingredient is because just because it breaks down doesn't mean it breaks down safely for the environment. At least it says there are no enzymes used, because enzymes can be good or bad for our health, depending on what kind of enzymes they are! Since Le Blanc doesn't share what is in what it is selling to us, it's good to know there are no enzymes. Dropped one star for lack of transparency.

For whatever reason, the fragrance in the laundry wash is vastly different than the linen wash. I meant to buy the linen wash as it’s the only product I use on my Sferra linens. It still works but I long for my bedding to smell like it used to. Unless this is old product or not original...I can’t understand why it’s so different. For this much money I certainly expected better—even though it’s not the product I had meant to buy.

I like the verbana scent. I tried the towel wash first - it seems the towel wash leaves a stronger fragrance than this laundry wash - and the fragrance is what is delicious.

Not a nice or fragrant as other washes from Le Blanc. Very disappointed. Skip this scent.
