If you have large hands, the hooks don’t allow you to use your fingers at all. I am a first time user of this style, but it just doesn’t feel secure enough. The wrist wraps are amazing, but all I could focus on was the bar trying to slip out of the hook, or the hook slipping down the bar. Great for close grip rows, but lay pull downs or pull ups are a no go for me. IMO. Great quality built, great material. Hooks are metal and have a textured grip to them.

Great for the intended purpose. Fit well and are easier to use than traditional straps

I’m just getting back into the gym and wanted to try these as I dint want to sacrifice my fairly soft hands for some muscles. I figured if they didn’t work I’d return them and just suck it up - calluses and all To my surprise they’ve been fine, they definitely take some of the pressure off the hands

Update: Very happy with the customer service from this company, they value your feedback and do everything they can to make sure you are satisfied. Although this specific product was too big for me, they were kind enough to let me try another one of their products (which worked out great!). I will continue to support this store with my future gym purchases. These are way too big for people with small hands. I thought these would help me lift more weight but they actually make everything harder. I dropped a weight on my toe first time using them because the hook is too large and sits too low to assist my grip, the weights easily roll over and can fall out of the hook so be careful
