Updated review Purchased on July 16th. After 2 months of use a weld completely failed during use (pictures attached) resulting in the pulley system with most the weight on it striking my brother on the top of the shoulder. The "welds" if you can call them that have no penetration at all. They are essentially glued together. Downgrade to 1 star because now the machine is entirely unusable. Huge waste of money Original review Kind of disappointed. Negatives - Assembly was awful. One part you need to put a metal sleeve inside of a component to allow it to pivot. It did not fit at all. I had to use a shop press to press it through the holes which I'm shocked didn't break it. Pin does not want to stay in to hold the weight no matter how much I tighten or loosen the bolt that controls the height. My 6ft 2 brother is too long to use the leg extension function at all which was why we bought it to begin with. The one stopper for the leg part would not stay put and started immediately shredding the cable. I had to put a zip-tie to hold it in place. Range on motion on lat pull downs feels very short and pretty much useless Positives - the preacher curl,leg press, chest flys, chest press, rows and triceps push downs all function and work pretty well. Got mine on prime sale and still feel like it's overpriced after all the modifications I had to do just to get it to function properly, but it fills the need for some workouts in my home gym. I'll just use free weights and other equipment to make up for the unfortunate short falls of this machine.

Absolutely perfect home gym. It has the variety of exercises I need and does not take too much space in my garage gym. Good value for the money. Takes some time to assemble but not too difficult. The seat wiggles a bit but I could affix with some tape and the leg press is not what expected. Other than that I am very pleased.

It was missing parts when we opened it and got it most of the way together. We don’t want to send it back but would love to get the two pieces that were missing

junk - cables are too long so you dont have the full range of motion and the cable pops off the pulleys at times. The bar for the weights are not long enough so you cannot use the full weight stack. DO NOT BUY

Bought this items with good reviews. It is a good cost efficient gym set. Instructions on how to put it together is great. Works good. But ankle strap broke first time using it!! Lock pin does not stay into the plates to lift weights, it keeps falling out and slamming thr weights, fixed, thr pin is too short. So I went to harber freights and bought a longer lex set and used it in place of gym plate pin, working great now. The leg pad covers keep falling off, so I will super glue them and hopefully that works, ans the seat is a little wobbly when working out. Would have gave it a four but this was right after the gate setting it up as instructional and could not lift weight due to itema not being correct or as described and paid for!!!! But i had to go buy new ankle brace, locking plate pin and a fix for the leg cushion plugs it works good and what my family wanted.

Originally we were impressed with the product and it started off easy to setup. Then we got to the guide rods and they were made/sent incomplete. Instructions say to screw a bolt into the top and bottom of guide rod poles but only one side even has a nut/threading (welded inside the pole) to screw into! We stopped at that point and decided to email the customer support number in the manual, hoping for an easy fix. Maybe just send us 2 new guide rods?! The email bounced back as undeliverable. We Googled Fitvids and found their website which has a different email for support than what’s listed on the manual. Fine, I email them as well and after a week still radio silence. We want to use our gym that we paid good money for. We went to the hardware store and were able to come up with a workaround (no thanks to the company) so that we aren’t waiting ages for a response or having to return a 200lb plus product that came in 5 packages. We also bought the Fitvids attachment set (sold on the same listing!) and they don’t fit with the carabiners that were sent with the system. So we had to buy new ones of those as well. The gym itself is nice and functional but when it comes with missing/faulty parts, that you literally can’t use the machine without, it’s difficult to give a positive review.

So far it arrived late came in two separate shipments and piece for pole #3 is missing. ( manufactured wrong). I’ve been trying to do this now for 6 days … UPDATE: they sent me a replacement gym. While I wish this wouldn’t have happened I’m satisfied.

Yo. These guys built their own product wrong. They welded pieces upside down. Come on man. Not to mention a bunch of pieces were just loose in the box. Nor were the screws labeled. Come on man. These guys were late shipping probably because they were manufacturing more product. Like you guys should 100% give some sort of rebate for this poor manufacting quality. I went to homedepot to buy bolts so I could continue to building but as I continued I found more parts that were not manufactured correctly. The bars that hold the weights are missing the bolts inside to bolt to top arm. Amazon is replacing with a new one. Thank you Amazon!!
