Our favorite chili
I'm a Texas girl -- of course I give Wolf Brand Chili 5 stars. It's like a rule or state law or something. However, it's way better than other brands, so if you've never had Wolf Brand chili, try a can. Sometimes I squirt a little ketchup in it, sometimes I serve it over Fritos, for a sort of "frito pie", sometimes, a throw in a bit of cooked macaroni for "chili mac". If I want beans in it, I add a can of Ranch Style Beans (another thing that's always in my pantry). Without beans, it's very good over hot dogs. Goes well with crackers or cornbread, too... oh, and cheese... cheddar or American or whatever cheese you like... maybe not mozzarella or Swiss... anyway, it's very versatile.

Not sure if they've changed the formula or I just got a bad batch. Been buying for years but this was runny and had slightly different seasonings than I normally get with Wolf Brand Chili. Maybe I bought the wrong one.

The best durn in the country...
In Texas they say, 'neighbor--how long has it been since you've had Wolf's Brand Chili? Well, that's too long!' If you eat anything that goes better with chili, and that includes just about everything except chocolate cream pie, then ya gotta get chili and the best there is(in a can) is Wolf's Brand. The No Beans Lean Beef is to my taste as it's just hot enough without making you run for a pitcher of ice water after every bite. I don't know how many 'alarms' it is chili-wise, but it's just about perfect. Going along with soups and crackers, on your hot dog or burger, or just being there in the cabinet for that dark wintry night when you need something warm and cozy to heat up, you want this/you need this...After 17 years in Texas, I learned that the best durn chili is Wolf's...
