Cubilux USB Type C to 0.78mm 2-Pin IEM Cable with Detachable Boom MIC, 4 FT

I wanted a cable from my IEM that had a microphone directly built-in as most Bluetooth IEM converters the mic sucks. The cable doesn’t change any sound quality of the IEMs themselves. The microphone sounds great according to all my friends on discord. The part that wraps around your ear has like a shrink film on it where if you heat it up and coil it the coil gets a lot tighter and then you can fit to however your ears are. The connection is super simple just a USB-C directly into my phone my tablet or anything else that USB-C

First time I ordered these wires it was fine. Then, I ordered it again because they started to break after 6 months and the copper began to oxidize, which is really no problem. I got good use out of them with my Moondrop Aria Snows. First re-order, I received the wrong item (pins too short). They had changed the listing to a product with short pins since my original order. So, that’s partially on me for not double checking, and partially on the brand or Amazon for changing the product listing in a way that selecting “Buy Again” for the exact same product listing, results in receiving a different item. Then I ordered from this new listing, and received a defective item. The pins are long enough, but somehow too thin, so that no matter how much I insert the pins, the left side disconnects from my IEMS after a second of being in my ears, and never hear that satisfying click which informs you that the pin is firmly set in the socket. I know it’s not an issue with my IEM sockets since I tried a friend’s wires and they fit just fine. Not an expensive wire, but it may not be worth the inconvenience of returning defective items, if that’s a consideration for you.

Work like a boss nice quality

TL;DR: quiet microphone, likely capable of driving most IEMs on the market to audible volumes, cheap construction but undercuts alternatives solely on price.Properly shows up as a USB audio device with VID 31b2 and PID ff11. Could not find anything specific with this VID & PID but this VID is associated with KTMicro, which is a Chinese manufacturer. Thus, the actual specs are a mystery.The listing is accurate to my knowledge, with supported output format of up to 192 Khz/16 bit and up to 24 bit for 96 Khz/48 Khz/44.1 Khz sample rates. The microphone input is up to 48 Khz/24 bit audio format.In actual usage, I found the microphone to be pretty quiet. The combination of short boom length that doesn’t quite reach my mouth along with the generally low gain of the mic makes things sound really quiet. The microphone enclosure only has a single opening at the end that points outwards. Without any additional length to work with, the microphone can’t really point towards my mouth and thus I’ll always sound slightly muffled and quiet. Since the audio input isn’t very loud to begin with, I doubt it’ll pick up much background noise but it would definitely be suggested to speak louder than normal for better mic audio.Without having any specs provided regarding how much power the DAC can provide to IEMs, I can’t comment on what pairs can be driven. But I tested with a pair of 7HZ Crinacle Zero 2 IEMs and I needed to turn the audio volume way down below halfway to around 15 in Windows. I think this cable should be more than enough to drive most IEMs on the market to audible volumes.I did find the cable to be very cheap and flimsy. It easily gets kinks in the cable and overall doesn’t feel great.Compared to other alternatives on the market, these stack up fairly nicely solely on its pricing because this product undercuts everyone else I’ve seen. Options from Kinera and Antlion (off the top of my head) are a sizable amount more expensive and offer basically the same functionality.
