Great buy!
This Louisiana girl approves. It is good quality and is inscribed with the name and a fleur de lis. Nice and sturdy and well made. I use it for stirring my roux for when I make gumbo or stew. I am ordering more for the cooks in my family.

Super cool
I love to cook and this item came across my news feed on facebook. I thought that is different and ordered it. I have used it several times and am extremely happy with it. It is not only functional, but it is very sturdy. Love it!!

THE. BEST. SPOON.
Lightweight spoon is easy to hold and turn in a soup pot. Curved design gets into the edges and corners of all my pans whether making a roux, stirring a gravy, or sautéing spinach. One of my favorite gifts for cooks of all ages as it's practical, uncommon, inexpensive, and highly functional. One of the most used tools in my kitchen.

This spoon is great!
I like the straight tip of this spoon. I use large stainless steel bowls to mix things in and it allows me to scrape the bottom real well. I really like the shape of it.

You get what you pay for. Needs to be thicker, more sturdy. Feels thin & cheap
It feels very cheap in my hand. The edges are sharp and hard to hold onto for long periods. I wish it were thicker metal.

Good for cooks
Love this spoon, I've bought two (first one was stolen). I'm a line cook who is required to have plating spoons. And while this one can't plate fancy it certainly can shovel a good amount of food and is really nice when I make rissoto. Never actually used it for a roux but I can see this working for 2lbs worth of roux. Anyways it's not fancy but it's one of my favorite spoons

Great for more than making roux!
I use it for more than roux (which I do not make). Great for checking “sticking” to bottom of pan off as in dumplings, “ goodie” scraped off cast iron after frying bacon, hamburger for making gravy, and while making gravy keeps flour from sticking.
