Clear Plastic Placemats Set of 16, 17.5x12 Transparent Vinyl Table Mats

Love these, because I love my table And they do not hide it.

I use these to line my refrigerator shelves for a quick and easy cleanup from spills. Clear plastic always looks clean and is easy to keep up!

Awesome, make sure to take off the plastic film that protects it and then it is as crystal clear as glass.

They are clear, but they are tad cloudy. Overall, they do the trick once I put them out on the area that I wanted them on they’re OK they protect my furniture and that was the goal. Again, I just wish they were clear – crystal clear and not cloudy but for the money they’re worth it.

Edited: while I was washing dishes, I went to wash one of these. The hot water warped it immediately. I don't recommend these as dinner placemats. I'm going with silicone instead, even though they are translucent, not clear like these. I will still use these for my kids to draw and write on. I like to use fabric table cloths, so I bought these to protect my tablecloths from my kids' (and mine too, let's face it) messy eating. Pros: They are crystal clear, so don't stand out and you can see the table cloth perfectly through it. The ones I received are exactly 12 x 18 inches, so the description is correct. They are thick and sturdy. Cons: They look like they might scratch easily, and I'm not sure how heat resistant they are, since they are plastic, not silicone. Also, one of the photos make it look like they are pretty flexible, but they are not. They are difficult to bend, and you definitely could not roll them. Also, they are slick so they won't stay in place. I am going to keep them to try them out. If they don't work out for dinner placemats, then they will still be useful. I have been looking for something that my kids can use to make a harder surface for their papers when they draw or write at the dining table or desks. These will work great for that!

The clear placemats are perfect for what I wanted them for. I put them on top of some fabric mats that easily get dirty when we eat. The clear mats showed the picture of the cloth placemats but at the same time kept them clean. Any food that fell on the clear placemats cleaned off easily. Looked pretty and no stains.

I ordered 8 of these placemats. 4 had protective coatings that I had to remove and they were crystal clear, as advertised. However, 4 did not have the protective coating and they had scratches and were not "crystal clear", as advertised.

We use these over our tablecloth. They are perfectly clear. I am surprised that slipping has not been a problem. I like the look of a tablecloth, and now it stays clean for a lot longer!

Excellent placemats! Simple with no intricate designs but elegant!

Not entirely transparent, but won't distort under reasonnably hot plate. This is what I was looking for.
