What is the minimum and maximum back clearance needed? I have a significant roof overhang at the peak of my garage that I need to clear.

Short answer: Min. is 24", Max. is 32" (back of wall mount to front of backboard; backboard is 1 5/8" thick). Longer answer: How those measurements impact your roof overhang has everything to do with the height that you place your wall mount at vs. the adjustable height of the rim. For example, with my brackets extended fully to 32" (a 90 degree angle to the ground) my rim height is approx. 9'. I crank the rim height to 10' and the bracket extension is more like a 135 degree angle to the ground, it pulls the backboard closer to the wall - approx. 28". So think about the different heights you will want to set your rim at, how that will change the angle of the brackets, the distance from your mount, etc. - then choose your wall mount height accordingly.

Can I purchase home instillation service?

I do not believe so. It's a pretty simple installation though. You should easily find a local handyman service who could install it. It is not rocket science.

Can i mount this to a pre-existing pole where my old backboard used to be?

Yes. You will need to get some additional hardwares
