what is the size of the barrel only, excluding the bristles?

It’s about an inch and a half ... perfect size for mid length to short hair. Could get tangled in long hair. Also the vent brush and this round brush are both good brushes. Denman make excellent quality brushes-they last !

Do these bristles create static when blow drying?

I dont know. I use round bristle brush for blow drying.

Can you take the brush apart to clean and remove bristles?
