For my mismatched knives, this knife block works perfectly. I like the stylish exterior stainless steel and the fact that its a smaller block that doesn't have a large footprint on my countertop. Even with it's small size, I'm able to put a variety of knives in it (everything from a small paring knife to a larger cleaver) and it holds quite a bit of knives. I haven't had it all that long so I can't comment on it's durability but I don't see anything that would indicate that it won't last a good long time. The sleeve that holds the knives is a very innovative design.

This knife block is perfect! I was a bit nervous when I saw everyone else’s review because in their pictures they only showed a few knives in the knife block. As for me I wanted to replace an older wooden knife block, fully equipped with every knife possible. And much to my surprise every knife fit! That includes a large kitchen knife, a large Santoku knife and even a knife sharpener! Shipping was extremely fast, it was well packaged and to top it off the it’s so sleek and room saving (as you can see in the before and after pictures).I am very impressed!If you’re looking to upgrade to a knife block that better fits your kitchen aesthetic, I highly recommend this awesome one!

Just as advertised! Would not hesitate to recommend and already received compliments. Easily fits 8 knives without cramming them. Well packaged, nice construction, sleeker than wood. Love it! Only suggestion is to weight the bottom, otherwise would have given five stars. I have Global knives and a Shun which have extremely light handles. Is you have heavier German knives this may get top heavy if you overload it. Otherwise, fantastic!

This knife block is quite beautiful. It arrived quickly and in elegant packaging, it has a good solid weight and feels well made and durable, it works perfectly, and it looks elegant on the counter.It's not huge, it's not going to contain a full complement of chef's knives along with a full set of dinner knives comfortably. I don't need all that on the counter however and it is going to contain all the cooking knives I use regularly which is perfect for me. I've just got two knives inserted into the knife block for the benefit of the photo there.Would buy again and would gift.

It's high quality materials, great design, counter-space-saving and perfect for storing at hand the few knives I use most frequently. Depending on knife size, it easily holds to six-ten. I haven't experimented with it's full capacity, but I do keep my sharpest ones in it for safety. I love it. It is a great gift because it's attractive, compact and extremely stable. I think I'll order another for my sister's birthday next month......

I've been using an old wooden knife block from my previous apartment for a year, but it didn't really fit my kitchen design, as you can see. So I've been looking for a fitting replacement and ended up buying this one: design is pretty slick and it really looks well in my kitchen.I've just started using it, but already can tell that I like how I don't have to 'aim' to put my knives into the block: I just drop them into the block. I also like that it's easy to clean, unlike my old stained wooden one. All in all, I'd say good value for money.

LOVE THIS! I knew when I redid my kitchen I wanted to get rid of the knife block I had been using for probably 30 + years. I love that there are no slots, you can remove the center and clean it as often as you desire. It holds more than a standard knife block. Strongly recommend. This particular one was smaller, some of them are just huge, and I didn't have the space for a bigger one, this is perfect in size, and it fits soooo many more knives and kitchen scissors than my old one. The price was just right, and worth it!

Seller told me she would send me another one when I told her I wasn't satisified - after few weeks, I struggled to put knives in holder; was told you can't put serrated knives in container but yet that information was not known at time of purchase; seller said she'd be glad to send me another one but I never received it; never received a refund either, I threw it out and purchased a better product by Laxinis World - works great!
