It’s completely waterproof but still soft. Also you can’t even tell it’s there when you’re sleeping. It doesn’t make any crinkly noises like some waterproof covers do, and it has held up great after washing. It’s a great way to protect your mattress while still enjoying a comfortable night’s sleep. Not plastic, not noisey, & it doesn't make you hot (iykyk). Also easily fit my queen mattress and hasn't came off or tried to come off even with my sheets pulling off (from my dog & kittens playing on the bed)

I think this is one of the best mattress covers I have ever owned. My last one, bought at a box mart, was 100% plastic and I hated it. Although it was guaranteed waterproof, it made a rustling noise whenever I moved and it wouldn't stay put on the mattress corners. Now that I have a new mattress, I took pleasure in trashing it and purchased this new mattress topper. Night and day. This fits my 10-inch hybrid mattress perfectly and doesn't move at all. It has a fine terry surface and a somewhat thin Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) backing underneath, which will offer some reasonable waterproof protection. It is noiseless and doesn't migrate during sleep. I recommend.

So far, the protector is doing what it’s supposed to do, but I’m a little underwhelmed by the quality. It’s much thinner than any of my other mattress protectors, yet it cost more than the protector I bought for my king-size mattress. For the price, I expected it to feel a bit more substantial. Hopefully it holds up without ripping. So far, so good, but time will tell.
