Wow! I was blown away by the heft of this thing. It's very solidly built, and impressive. I was really not expecting it to be such a heavy-duty metal item, as so many cabinet organizers are plastic or somewhat flimsy. I picked this up because I have a few places in my kitchen where I could use a pull-out to make it easier for me to grab things from my bottom cabinets. The older I get, the less my knees are willing to take the hit of me digging around from the floor. I haven't quite decided yet whether I'm going to install this in the bottom of a dining console/cabinet that I have, where it fits perfectly, or in the bottom of one of my ktichen cabinets. I feel like I would be wasting space using it in the cabinet, because it doesn't quite reach to the back, and the opening is not very wide. On the other hand, it fits the console perfectly, but that's not the most useful place for it. As a result, I haven't installed it yet. Installation does look to be a bit challenging. I think it could be a bit difficult to get the tracks screwed in at just the right spacing and angles. On the other hand, the adhesive installation looks to be much easier, but more permanent. I do appreciate that there are two choices for installation. Definitely a cook item, and seems to be a good value given how well it's constructed. Not sure it's necessary to be so solidly built in most cases. but i you have a need for storing cans or pots and pans, this will do the trick. I think I'm going to see if they make a version that's a bit deeper to reach all the way to the back of my cabinet.
