How thick are The tiles?

These are pretty much the same size as normal rummy tiles if not a little thicker. We could not be more happy with these and have gotten numerous compliments on the set.

Are the tiles numbers inset?

Yes. The tiles are very well made. Easy to use them. Good grip when you pile them up. I own at least 5 or 6 games and the tiles are very slippery and hard to grab them when you pile them up

Are the metal guards made of brass, or something else like zinc?

I don't know -- I don't know my metals enough to say. But I can say that this is a wonderful set -- really high quality and attractive.

Are there two jokers in the set? What does it look like?

Yes, two joker tiles. The racks are wood, extremely will made. It is the best quality Rummykube set I have seen.
