Love the lure when using the tube hooks that come with them, catching a lot of striped bass, but the hooks and barbs are cheaply made causing me to drop a lot of fish. Hooks bend and the small barbs strip easily when catching big fish. Mfr should invest in better hooks to get a 5 star rating.

These saltwater diamond jigs have excellent quality and function great in the water. The kit that these come in includes an assortment of hooks and different colored tubes so you can decide what to use no matter the conditions. Initially I thought these jigs were a little expensive but very quickly came to realize that they are worth every penny.

The lure looks great. Just what I need for Mackerel fishing. Decent painting and hooks. So the lure can go with or without tubes. Tubes on for striper and blue fish. Tubes off for Spanish mackerel! Great idea to give you the option to have tube or not. Caught a nice bass with it on first trip!
