This is our first counter depth refrigerator replacing a 28 cubic ft side by side. We don't miss the extra space in the refrigerator the shelves are customizable and doors hold tonsThe freezer is the only reason this didn't get a 5 start reviewThe freezer has a bin and a wire rack that slides back and forth.The ice and water in the door is a must(for me anyway) One small issue is the water is not chilled, the old refer had coils that were housed in the refrigerator giving nice cold waterThe water filtration system is greatThis refer is very close to 5 stars so far. Only had for a few months so will update if any issues arise.The value is tremendous by far the best overall value.update: Love this thing! Not sure what problems other people had with this unit. I believe I found the "popping" sound that people complained about. We recently had the city work on our water supply and we heard "popping" noises also. After opening ALL water lines in our house and running the water in the door for 10 min we cleared all air out and no more noise.Very efficient cooling the zones actually work to keep veggies fresher. Ice make is small but refills itself faster than any previous unit we've owned. Water filtration is great saves me on pitcher filters(can't taste difference between daughters Berkey)Great looking works well zero issues!

We bought a Figidaire Gallery refrigerator in June of 2016 to compliment a complete kitchen renovation. Here we are in January of 2019, 2-1/2 years later we are faced with $1000 in repairs. The refrigerant has leaked out and the refrigerator will not longer cool adequately. We called the service department at the dealer where bought it. They looked at the issue and said it could not be fixed. After lengthy non-committal discussions with Frigidaire service, they insisted that we use a different company to inspect the refer. We had to pay for the $95 service call. This company found that the unit could be fixed for $890. This is to repair the freon leak and also includes the parts and labor to replace the control panel and display which had also failed. So we will spend more than $1000 to keep this supposedly "high quality" appliance running. I am very tempted to just scrap it but we already paid $135 to recharge the freon by first repairman and then another $95 to get the correct diagnosis. Figidaire tells us "there is nothing they can do". Well, there is something I can do, and that is to be very sure that every place that I can find where I can review Figidaire gets the facts about this company. They will not stand behind their product. They will duck taking any responsibility and will stick it to you when their crappy product fails. I try to buy American, but in return I expect the quality and service that that implies. You are much better off buying a Korean product like LG or Samsung or even some Chinese manufactured appliance than buying Figidaire. At least you know the quality is suspect and you don't feel so bad when you have to chuck it after a few years. Shame on Figidaire, they are driving business and jobs away from America buy not providing the quality and especially the service that we should expect from an American company.Please pass the word, do not buy anything from Figidaire.

We have had this model for over a year, and have had 7 service calls, to no avail. This fridge makes very loud "gunshot" sounds day and night, which are frightening and have awakened us at night. Frigidaire will do nothing and refuses to replace it, saying that they can't find anything "wrong." Completely useless service, I would never by another Frigidaire product again. We will end up donating this fridge to charity and start over with another brand.

Bought my fridge about 3 years ago and after 1 year, the ice maker stopped working. Had someone come out twice and never fixed it. Parts recalled with refrigerator were replaced and still didn't work. I now have to spend close to $2,000 to get another fridge. Going with a different brand for sure. Now water does not work and thre refrigerator remains at 57 degrees.

Don't buy Frigidaire. After spending $1500 it's leaking within 2 years. Buy a different brand please people.
