Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Neutral Running Shoe

Absolutely recommend these running shoes, are super comfortable and true to size with a very good arch support. They are also very stylish.

These are well-engineered shoes! The arch support and cushioning for shock absorption allowed me to achieve 11,233 steps the first time wearing out the box! I found them to be lightweight and at the end day, did not experience any aches/fatigue in my legs or feet. I wear a size 9 and didn't need a break-in period. I'd definitely recommend to anyone searching for a comfortable yet stylish pair of shoes.

These running shoes are great for running, strength training, walking, standing, or just hanging around.. They are super comfortable. Brooks are my go to shoes.

I was looking for a new pair of sneakers for walking as I noticed my other shoes would leave my feet achy, legs sore, and in some cases some of my toes going numb. I have been walking 2.5 miles each day, and I feel like I could walk a lot father than that when wearing them. I think the soles are thick, so if you aren't used to wearing shoes like that it might take some time to adjust. But they are comfortable and offer great support. I think sizing is accurate as I am a size 10 and the 10 fit me. They are costly, but I do believe in getting what you paid for. And these are really great shoes!

I honestly never heard of Brooks before, but when searching online for a new pair of sneakers, I came upon Ghost 17. I like the style and the colors and see mostly positive reviews. I ordered size 7.5 W and they arrived timely. I put them on and they fit comfortably. In my opinion, the front of the shoes seem a little longer than they need to be which makes them appear a half size larger than they actually are. Also, it would be nice if the laces were just a little longer. The arch support is comfortable, just not as cushiony as I'm used to with my Saucony sneakers. I typically walk 2-3 miles daily. They are fine for me and my feet don't hurt. I'm hoping these shoes will last at least a year.

I have been wearing the Ghost 16 for the last 13 months and finally needed a new pair. The Ghost 17 are so comfortable, super cushy and wonderful. I have very bad bunions in both feet and the 10 WIDE accommodates them well! My bunions did not tear all the way through the fabric after wearing the 16's for a little over a year. They did stress the fabric but no holes. If you're like me with bunions, give these a try.

This is my second pair of Brooks Ghost shoes. I have narrow feet and it has taken me years to find a brand for walking shoes that I could rely will fit when I need a new pair. I am a size 11 narrow in shoes. I came across Brooks about 3+ years ago. I had never worn them but I have tried Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Naturalizer, and Sketchers. New Balance were the only ones that fit my but they lacked any design or fun colors for what I wanted in a shoe. I am a heavy walker, meaning I strike the ground a little hard with each step, so there is pressure on my heels. I like the Ghost model shoe because it has a good amount of heel cushion without losing stability. Brooks uses some material that provides cushion and a little bounce without being too springy feeling. Some brands soles are very squishy and/or thick causing a lot of lateral tilting movement which can result in me twisting my ankle. Who needs that? I prefer to get black shoes, again size 11 so they can double as a canoe, but I like that I still have a little color on the shoes. I very much dislike all black athletic shoes with black uppers and black bottoms - to me they look like old man shoes. The first Ghost model I bought lasted me over 3 years, though I've needed to replace them for a couple months, they still stood up and provided good support. Honestly I would still be using them but the fabric on top finally starting splitting from wear. I do walk about 10,000+ steps/per day so they have gotten tons of use since I use them every single day of the year. The soles were still in good shape with tread left which was not my experience with Nike or New Balance. So if you need a pair of reliable, comfortable, supportive and cute shoes I highly recommend Brooks. :)

So far they’re great, I’ve had them for a couple weeks now. They hold up well for what I (young adult woman) do, which is mainly walking on asphalt, trails, light running, and a lot of standing. I love the way they allow me to actually roll through in my step, and I would consider them comfortable. I typically wear Nike (7.5 women’s), but I ordered a size 7 after trying on a different color in-store at a local Famous Footwear. Shoes were sent in the correct size, and they fit very comfortably. My biggest complaint, which is why I knocked off a star, is no fault of the manufacturer but that of Amazon. I ordered these as “new” but I received ones that were used. I included pictures of them right out of the box. A little disappointed that I spent so much money and couldn’t have received a brand new pair, but they still work fine and there was nothing else off with them so I’m not overly concerned with it. Just wanted to make others aware. Overall: I would recommend them, but if “brand new” matters to you then I would probably opt to get them from an actual shoe store or their actual website.

Perfect shoe for walking my dogs on the wet grass or through bush and even on the road. They are true to size and I extremely comfortable to wear.

I order these and was going to return them and changed my mind. I kept them because I didn't wear them enough to get the full effect and I was going out of town and either had to return quickly before I left so I opted not to return. Now I wish I returned them. They squeak and make a lot of noise when walking. They don't fit as well as I hoped. I have another pair of Brooks Ghost that I bought in the US and they are great but I've had them for a few years. These are not the same quality or fit as the other ones. I would recommend trying them on somewhere before you buy them. I needed wide and I could only find them online at Amazon. Big mistake.
